I won't say abhim doesn't love ruhi or ignored her but he's too engulfed in his own thoughts and emotions for abhir .

Trying to end his life just bec abhir chose his parents , without thinking that ruhi is also the one who's the center of his universe Proves just this..he has to have the object of his affection..when he divorced akshara , he had ruhi, ma , his family to take care of , who love him, but as.per his mummy he was dukhi..dukhi for what ? Dukhi over his own decision? ..now he's crying only for abhir when he has his family, his patients who rely on him , his job and a perfect life basically. Zabardasti ka rona dhona laga rakha hai.

But at this moment , I'd appreciate the little children specially ruhi who is standing by her poppy inspite of whatever anyone tells her ..👏 This is abhirs love for abhin which is making him take a side..

I didn't want this for abhir..I didn't want his mind to be poisoned by the half truths ..but Birla khandan ki Hawa usko ek din badal hi deti 😆 I never wanted him to brew hatred for abhim..at this point he will know things only through somebody else's perspective which may be right or wrong but abhir can't process that correctly.

The one person trusts him because he built that bond with her, if he was a bad to her she wouldn't be on his side like she was mad at him when she thought he was ignoring her and he handled her and her relationship with her brother carefully. This trust and love is testament to the love Abhi has showered on her.

Abhim does love Ruhi but his priorities have for sure shifted ever since Abhir came into the picture. He has neglected Ruhi because of Abhir, lied to her to go stay with him in Kasauli, was totally lost and wanted to die when got rejected by Abhir without even giving a thought about Ruhi, is never shown thinking about Ruhi whenever he gets uneasy premonitions of some danger. Ruhi’s love for Abhim on the other hand is just so pure. Yes, she has had moments of insecurities too in the past, which wouldn’t have happened btw honestly if she had not felt ignored, but she is still a child and has that innocent admiration for her Poppy whom she considers closest to a father figure. She is mature enough to acknowledge Abhir being part of her Poppy’s life. On the other hand I don’t see maturity in Abhim, as he seems to want it all. He wants to keep Ruhi with himself, wanted Abhir too that turned out horribly, I think his love was still immature because he treated possessiveness as love until recently when he decided to give up Abhir’s custody. Nevertheless he still needs to grow and understand that love is not supposed to cage others just for yourself, but is more about understanding what they want and letting them do the same, its about respect

Abhi loves both equally, it’s was both sisters who said choose one of them- while he kept pushing for their sibling bond which he did create. Also, when Roohi was showing jealousy and Abhi found out, he sat down and explained sibling bond with her and then even told her you can decide if you want Abhir to not come to Birla house anymore, and told her he will go with her decision.

Also, I find it interesting that people say Abhi values khoon kha rishta more - when growing up- he loved Neil more than a sibling and he didn’t know they were brothers.
Also, why wouldn’t he be worried about Abhir in jail, Abhir’s father just died so obviously Abhi’s attention will be on him.
Also, I remember a scene where when Abhi claimed to be Roohi’s father and Kairav was like you’re just a foster father, just cause you raised a child it doesn’t make you a father.
Then I remember Arohi once was like to Abhi don’t teach me how to raise and discipline my own daughter. Abhi was reminded by people that Roohi isn’t his biological daughter even when he gave her love like a father.

In other hand - you have his ex wife telling him- you’re not his father, the one who raised him is his father. Biological father doesn’t mean anything.

All the guy did was love both kids and try his best with them. However whatever he does is questioned by everyone.

He still hasn't changed much. Roohi is just his promise and now (unwanted) responsibility. He is definitely not a good father so far from what I have seen in the show.

And he is right when he says he 'Tries' to give love... But fails... Fails miserably... And ends up hurting everyone. It's better that he stays away from people he claims to love. 😆

Right!! Abhi has been saying loud and clear that he wants to be a part of both kids life. If people paid attention to the scenes, during Kasauli track- it was shown that Abhi talks to Roohi every night. Then during the wedding when Roohi came to Kasauli, there are so many scenes where she is with Abhi and they are interacting- he is fixing her outfit, making flower garlands with her, actually both kids were with him a lot during the wedding track .

People tend to care more about conflicted relationships than the stable ones till the conflict is there. Plus Abhir has already been through a lot so it's normal that he is more concerned about Abhir than Ruhi that in no ways prove Ruhi is unwanted in his life.

That's why when he was all hopeless even Arohi told him that Maa and Ruhi love him and he should love for them. I don't like Arohi but she was right. Abhi sometimes seem like people who run behind what they don't have and forget to appreciate what they have. Writers should give a dialogue asking Manju that "does Ruhi know and does she also hate me?"

It's not love, Ruhi is narcissistic supply for him as was Akshara and now Abhir. He is/was more dependant on their love than they on him as a guardian. He is addicted to their supply and when they refuse to provide him that, he goes into narcissistic withdrawal. Even his withdrawal gaslights his supplies into thinking they have gravely wronged him when all they did was chose their own happiness which is not a crime.

Even I don’t support his definition of love yaar. He is very controlling with how he loves and that’s his biggest fault. He always tries to control the behavior of his loved ones. He has tried controlling Akshara throughout their marriage, he tried keeping Abhir to himself without understanding Abhir’s feelings, and he has also tried keeping Ruhi to himself when Arohi wanted to leave with Ruhi. So yeah, I do understand what you are trying to say. That’s why I started liking Abhinav with time, because he respected Akshara’s opinions in their relationship which Abhim always failed to do. He should first learn what love is, before we see Abhira or anything, warna to humesha ye aise hi divorce deta rahega logo ko. He still has a lot of learning to do.

Nobody is thinking about abhi!!! But abhi should think about everyone in the world sitting in jail!!!

He is getting punished for something he didn't do!!! But hey, who cares!!!

Just because he doesn't do ruhi jaap all the time like abhinav, doesn't mean he cares less for her. He dedicated his 6 yrs only for ruhi!!! And back then he didn't know abhir was his son. Now that he knows, he is very well balancing with both kids!!!!
