And cameo entry didn't tank TRP.. Cameo entry saved trp from sinking due to nonsense tracks and with his exit TRP went away too.

And Abhimanyu didn't die because channel believed too much on him that their intense love story will skyrocket TRPs but unfortunately opposite happened.

sorry but you misread my statement. I didn’t say cameo entry tanked the TRP.

I said and quote - “So even though cameo was not in picture then it was the nonsense “set-up tracks for leap and cameo entry” that tanked the TRP.” Meaning the tracks that provided base for leap story and cameo introduction were nonsense and didn’t fetch much TRP before leap.

Abhimanyu’s ckt didn’t die because channel had seen that initial story and characters fetched them high TRP, however the same story and ckts were duly destroyed by Mr. Zama in this leap. Hence the decline.

In my view, cameo was a half baked, dull character who couldn’t do much and wouldn’t have sustained the show on his own. Hence he is gone, but unfortunately his presence caused more havoc than was needed.

Anyways, I think we are going in circles now, as I have probably said the same thing a few times now.

I appreciate your views might be different than mine. So let’s agree to disagree. Hasta la vista 🙏🏻

I have no idea about this. But I can see them messing up the story and not getting TRPs because of that. Bringing that cameo and making Ak move on was their biggest mistake! Simple! It was a hasty decision and now the show is suffering.

In Gen 2 also they killed Naira to increase overnight TRP brought that Sirat track and all but all of that led to the end of Gen 2.

They take hasty decisions and then after it gets messy they blame actors and it results in ending the show or taking stupid leaps. After leap one the reunion was so meh! Hence people were not interested in it. Upar se the got Aru married to Neil. It was all rushed and sloppy writing that's why TRPs tanked. I don't understand how channel is giving notice to yeh rishta when there shows performing worse.

First of all the “convenience” marriage itself was a terrible idea. It diminished Akshara as a character and put her in a tricky spot. Now they are making her say “I am a strong independent woman” which is hard to swallow when she relied on a random stranger during pregnancy and then married him for being “fatherji” of the child. But let’s all take time to “hail the cameo” in the process though, and dig a hole for leads.

And if they showed “convenience” marriage at the beginning then they should have kept it that way. Akshara’s anger was justified and needed but they took her hate to next level, which was absolutely not needed specially when Abhira was always the plan.

Itna deconstructing, reconstructing nahin hota. It was their overconfidence and cameo favouritism that has done the damage.

Their favoritism is only with the trp and money dear. But their approach has been rubbish hence the end product is garbage...it's nothing but taking the audience for granted ..

They butchered abhim bec all sp shows had leads with similar toxic traits and fl fighting against it..they tried to put abhim in the same league as virat and vanraj but even that failed ..their turn around proves it...They never could make akshu a strong character, instead made her a flipping queen ..with such weak leads trp kahan se aani hai

Plus no drama, TRP audience want drama they don’t watch for hot romance and aesthetically pleasing romantic scene and latkana romance to be very honest.

Akshara was a very immature FL right from the beginning. Both their characterisation was catering to teenagers with no depth. Trip and fall and saying abhi and akshu ain’t gonna cut it. DRAMA and family drama is what TRP audience care about ultimately.

Abhimanyu ka screaminb and screeching. I liked him that he was against papa birla that’s about it.

They should have made it an arranged marriage for abhira and gone the naksh way, instant two min noodle just makes their story laugh worthy. Whole of abhira journey is drama of other people and they are so obviously incompatible and badly written.
