I feel leap was already on the cards when tgey decided to kill off Nav. They wanted to wrap up the serial and so had to end with Abhira so as to please Abhira fans/ original leads. The plots that were created after Nav death seems so BS and badly executed, they appear as meaningless comedies. The makers cant be seriously expecting good trps for this. They are already prepping for shutting this gen for the last 1 month.

Didn't seem that way to me because producer was mentioning about intense romance and all in July and recent rumours were about Gen leap in November. I don't think planning is done that much in advance. If TRPs were good, I don't think there would be a Gen leap this year as Oct 23 will be 2 years of Gen 3.

This is just my opinion, I have no insider knowledge about how things function. It was good to read your view.

Cameo bilkul chala hai nahi tho kaunsa cameo 8mnths rehtha hai ? And Makers called him parallel lead then flipped like their characters in the show , while he is exiting . FL went on her knees for him he had a beautiful love story with legacy FL and his story kept the show in top 2 .Before he entered it was 2 or less and once he left the show lost it’s glory again !

The show's declining ratings aren't really about the actors or specific characters..... it's more about the plot and how relationships are portrayed. The male lead is stuck in a pretty standard love triangle with the female lead and the grey shaded step sister sister. Sure....... the male and female lead broke up a lot, which isn't a big deal since that's a common thing in many Indian dramas. But things really went south with that controversial White Day episode. I can't just say one character was right or wrong there it was a messy writing plain and simple.

Moving on the female lead hops on a bus meets a nice guy with a helpful good heart and they get married. She never even tells her family, and runs off to the mountains with someone she barely knows. That's unbelievable and hard to digest for most viewers.

Fast forward through a six-year time leap......and she's in a marriage that's more like a friendship which is fine if they're both happy. But then the male lead pops back into the picture. And how does her current husband exit the scene? In a totally bizarre way......by drunkenly falling off a cliff. Both guys Abhinav and Abhimanyu, messed up here, especially Abhinav who didn't know when to stop. Now the original love story of Akshara Abhimanyu is picking up again.....but honestly the plot's such a hot mess, since few months I'm not sure it can be saved. So let's not blame the actors or the characters it's the storyline that's really off the rails.

So Abhimanyu getting abhinav drunk before his own surprise party which he wasn’t even aware of , was coincidence? Yes abhinav drank without control. Abhimanyu could have stopped him, he knew right that there are people waiting to surprise him. Why even show this inconsistency when they are gonna give him a complete clean chit. This is just an example. He wasn’t even dragged half as much as Akshara was but atleast she went to save lives. Here tho it’s so illogical. Atleast should have shown something else. I can only relate to Muskaan’s emotions except for character assassinating part,. So stupid. However strange it was for her to get help from a stranger. Post leap she knew abhinav longer than she knew abhiM when they fell in love. It was established that he was trustworthy aFree 6 years of togetherness. They faulted in execution of high dramatic tracks. Like custody track , confrontations.

this is such an obvious question in anyone’s logical mind. The execution after navs death is cringy and insensitive. Ideally leap they should take and approach it differently. Abhira from beginning had no depth this was the right time to change that but oh well they want instant noodles always.

Sticky 2.1 is not high TRP for Rishta. Highish TRP in this leap was when Abhimanyu visited Kasuali for the first time, Abhimanyu’s accident, Abhimanyu knowing the Abhir’s truth - notice the common factor. So no cameo didn’t bring any ground breaking TRP. If he had, channel would have taken a note and possibly retained him.

Channel asked for his departure because he had overstayed his welcome due to favouritism by CD who possibly had different plans given how he treated cameo and leads in the leap story. However their plans and cameo didn’t work and cameo was shown the door, but damage has been done.

Leads should never have been butchered to blindly glorify the cameo which has been their single biggest mistake in this leap.

💯 . That camp track with a heart patient kid was one of the stupidest things I have ever seen. Abhimanyu with his work from home in Kasauli with AkshNav being a heart surgeon with bread jam, bartan wala nonsense was a ridiculous storyline too. The custody court case was 🫡. Still TRP never fell below 2.0.

Favouritism did happen with Abhinav, TRP audience favouritism. Non TRP audience favouritism happened with AbhiRa as is clear in the form of the TRPs.

The plots before the leap were set-up for this leap and designed by the same CD. For example, the whole jungle plot was to show Akshara’s carelessness during pregnancy which was one of the contentious aspect of this leap and was absolute nonsense track IMO. No one called out her carelessness but rather clapped for her “maa ki sakti”. No wonder it had low TRP. So even though cameo was not in picture then it was the nonsense set-up tracks for leap and cameo entry that tanked the TRP.

Yes the tracks were nonsense before or after leap no one denies that but many people connected with Abhinavs character and that's why trps remain stable when he was there..

And cameo entry didn't tank TRP.. Cameo entry saved trp from sinking due to nonsense tracks and with his exit TRP went away too.

And Abhimanyu didn't die because channel believed too much on him that their intense love story will skyrocket TRPs but unfortunately opposite happened.

Gana dedicated: Dil ko karar aya. I feel we should blame the jeans and white kurta this time or may be give credit to them for 0.1 increase. Channel wanted TRP to rise more than 2.1 - 2.2. And they wanted story back to leads. It is very clear SP pushed it. But it backfired, calculation went wrong. Course correction - needs to be done. It seems they are not interested and looking for Gen4. But Gen 4 will also not work out. Poetic Justice.

but where is the lovestory every one is saying ,till now writers obsession over his favourite character is not over,they will show akshara crying for cameo pati ,and audience will give trp ,
