Custody was given to the father, but the father gives almost entire responsibility of looking after the child to his mother and is unaware how his mother is for her own convenience hiding behavioural issues that his child is having at school caused by the custody case and separation from his mother.
So what is the point of abhimanyu having custody if he isn't even going to be the main caregiver even after getting custody, when akshara as abhir's mother and abhinav were hands-on in looking after abhir's every needs and abhir felt completely emotionally secure with his mother and her second husband?
This entire custody procedure in this track has been ridiculous and shoddy. There was no valid reason to snatch complete custody of such a young child from his mother and a home where he was well looked after and felt safe, to send to a home where he has never lived.
Once again a court was made to look so incompetent just to serve a narrative/ plot change.
