Manjari is delusional as all hell, has always been and I expect her delusions to break with Abhir being upset and missing his family. But......Abhi has no real delusions right now. He also has no idea how all of this got to this point. He went to Kasauli and lived with Sharma fam for a month just to be with his son and to resolve issues with Akshnav and try co parenting. He wanted in all the ways to coparent. He even talked about it with Abhir on how he can come visit every weekend and stuff. So no point in saying Abhi wanted to fight for custody.

BP kept a condition: that if Abhi won, only then Abhir ever gets to know that Abhi is his biological father. BP got greedy, he wanted Abhi out completely and figured this would be the fastest way. Abhi said repeatedly that he doesn't want Abhira to lose any of his relationships, doesn't want Sharma fam to lose their son. This whole custody track happened so quickly that it is impossible to understand everyone's position wrt it. In short though, Abhi didn't want this, he also didn't want to be out from his child's life forever. So he left it up to the court. What would anyone do in such a situation? He said clearly that no one is being objective and only court can be objective so they can just accept court's decision and move on.

I don't see any sense in the court case or the decision either. Financials are just a stupid reason and I am guessing this whole sequence is just to create an interesting storyline, kind of like white day that also didn't make any sense.

@Bold - I wouldn't say BP got greedy at that point. He, like always, assumed that Abhinav was telling truth out of pressure, which wasn't true.

The fact that Abhimnayu thought right time to bring up whole truth to Abhir was that evening itself and during the ceremony was quite low. Abhinav overhead it and he decided that all three will tell Abhir truth. Then, BP came to know of Manjiri's pathetic proposal to unite Abhira in front of Abhinav, that's what messed things up the worse... And on top of it that woman went on to claim that she wasn't wrong... She wasn't wrong to tell a husband to unite his wife with her ex. Had she explained or apologized, it may have still been controlled.

Ultimately challenge was stupidest stupidest and stupidest idea inspite of none of the parent agreeing. Adult children were brainwashed by their elders, and Abhinav was shut by Manjiri claiming to be only his benefit.

And court case toh even worse! Like others, I hope they show some foul play or DKP would be worst one to execute the first phase of this nonsense too. Bohot Pyaar Karte hai show too had Custody drama but their Indu and Ritesh were strong as family, yet somehow how believable situation was created to clip the verdict.. Till retrial... But this was utterly crap. Even that show highlighted how single fathers aren't given custody of a child and that's by legal standards. But then uss show mein none were biological parents.

No serial has shown a "loving husband" verbally abusing, terrorising and divorcing a woman who had just miscarried a complicated pregnancy either.

It’s common for parents to feel some type of resentment towards their children’s exes and family, even if your child was the wrong one in the relationship. And I definitely do not understand why they still encouraged AR to marry AbhiM. He could’ve just remained roohi’s poppy, but why marry AR? I was on KVs side when he objected to that decision. But as usual the GKs shut him up and sent him away! 🙄

Not very sure but I think she can still practice !So let’s hope they don’t change her profession again but make her wear the black coat fight for her son and win him back ! Nahi tho Law karvane ka maksath hi kya hai!

So let Akshara rise from ashes and give her son the happy family by legally fighting it using her education and skills. Writers have made her lawyer for what ? And Mr Nav enough of taxi game. My cab agency owner owns 8 cabs, lives in a mansion. So even taxi driver can flourish. It takes time but ITV can do wonders, Mr Nav work your way to financial opulence.

Arohi isn’t dumb like Akshara. She can look after her interests. She maybe has plans to make Abhimanyu sign over hospital shares to her in a prenup and then she would leave - securing her daughter’s future and ensuring that no one can ever win custody from her on financial grounds! And she already has stable income. She isn’t relying on anyone else in Goenka’s.

Kairav is good at pointing out others’ faults but he is an unreliable brother. He never went looking for Akshara himself. Abhimanyu-Akshara divorced but how it separated him from Akshara? And with Arohi too - without asking what she wants he brought her to meet prospective suitors post leap!

Did I write though about Abhi having any delusions? Abhi has wronged Ak on WD and that’s a reality. I never said Abhim is delusional, at this point honestly I have no clue about either of the leads’ pov because of the poor writing and can only assume. In my comment I only pointed out Manjari being wrong saying Abhim has not wronged Ak. Mahima was right in calling out the hypocrisy. And in my comment my main point is that why is there hypocrisy around judgement of both characters. If Abhim fights a goon, he is not risking lives? But Ak doing same is risking lives? While both their intentions are good, why is one a hero while the other a stupid person?

Are you being serious? When did Abhi fight goons while he was carrying babies? This isn't any kind of hypocrisy or some feminist issue. That decision was plain stupid for anyone to take. Plus Abhi has fought with goons like maybe twice during the whole show, and usually only to save someone he cares about. In any case, Ak was pregnant and in a serious condition, they had already called the police, and Neil could not handle all the goons by himself. There is no hypocrisy in pointing out that this was a stupid decision. I don't support Abhi's insane response to it either. Both were wrong and both are still wrong. But both were put in impossible situations too and even now they are in impossible situations.

Abhi hasn't made any stupid decisions to go save people and Ak has repeatedly made bad decisions that put not just her, but the people around her in bad positions.
