My Take on Verdict

In India Or anywhere it's usually mothers have upper hand and they win cases mostly as nothing equates to mother's love not even Father's wealth. Mother's case becomes even more strong when she has life partner to give fatherly love to her son. Again this is ITV, so the only convenient argument was financial status.

I'm feeling more bad for Abhinav here as he lost the family he had earned. He will feel guilty to a great extent just because he isn't rich. But i again don't understand ITV obsession with wealth and richness. I myself belong from humble middle class was still raised with everything my parents could.

If Judge had concerns about education and life of Abhir, I'm sure Abhimanyu could help him with school fees Or college fees too as generally fathers do help in divorces. But snatching a son a life who is so small had heart surgery not to forget and keeping him fir himself is cruel.

I guess you missed second point akshu did paternity fraud which was also one of the contributor which gives the vibe that she never had any intention of sharing her kid with abhi and she will never wanted to co-parent as well.

More than financial it was paternity fraud that contributed to this decision.

truth is they want abhir in birla house soon to move story forward actually both sides cant be justified and also court is for confrontations and they have completed concfrontations before only so they kept custody mute

The decision was cruel to be honest and in yeh hai mohabbatein they had asked Ruhi to choose y not here? I wouldn't mind if Abhir still chooses Abhimanyu

Not only cuz of financial condition akshu's paternity Fraud was also a reason custody was given to abhiM

and if we go by courts logic even then the show is not showing something new

In Kasam se ganga's custody was given to Jay cuz bani was phatichar af, same thing happened in nanhi si Kali, kashmakash and stree

@bold in India it maybe considered fraud but in other countries it isn't. Abhimanyu divorced Akshara & she contacted Abhimanyu to inform him about the child. With no child support provided by biological father Akshara became sole guardian of her child so legally she could decide for her child's betterment. There are several cases where mothers change paternity of child after getting remarried & there is no case of "paternity fraud" on them court ask for evidence of DNA sample to change father's name on birth certificate.

akshara has an option to keep fathers name as blank but she can't play fill in the blanks as that will deprieve kid from legally inheriting his father's assets irrespective of what is the issue. And yes if akshu denied abhi being father dna test would have conducted but she accepted as dna test will anyways will prove it true.
