The makers are keeping all the ships sailing and that is how it is going to be till the end of the leap track keeping the ship fandoms at loggerheads. The viewer gets emotionally invested in the character or pair and I do understand their reaction.
But to keep all the ships sailing, character graphs have become inconsistent. I am a story and character fan and it has become difficult to read the character...
Now about that night. TBH, I feel nothing happened on that night. So reunion is still a possibility. The let go wala AbhiN can turn cupid anytime for AK or Abhir.
However, some random points that I would like to share from recent episodes are:
1.Neutral AK: When BP was praising AbhiM when he withdrew the case, about his ' Behadh' pyar and 'gussa', AK had no reaction on her face. It was only flat 'Yes, I know it' face. Her first exciting reaction was she wants to go home ASAP. She did not even think about informing AbhiM. It was AbhiN who had to remind her that she needs to think about 'Bhaiji'. She informs AbhiM out fear of his reaction and as a duty, nothing else. If AK is genuinely moving on, this is what I want to see. AK not affected by AbhiM.
2. The pairs: You see AR now standing where AK used to stand years ago facing the wrath of AbhiM. Being gaslighted for defending family without being heard.
As opposed, you get to see how AK and AbhiN could maturely manage the awkward situation between Muskan and Kairav with least damage to the family bond. This is how mature husband wife handle situation. When AK was convincing Nilamma, AbhiN was already out securing the hostel room for Muskan which indicated what transpired between AK and AbhiN already.
3. Stockholm syndrome: For a moment, I felt that BP is suffering from Stolkhome syndrome. He was praising a person, for postponing the custody case that he should not have filed in first place. The person who divorced his grandchild twice, threw her out of house at drop of hat. Only Kairav knows AbhiM well, and I agree with Kairav, Abhir should kick both Goenkas and Birlas in future for bothering his parents too much, if he does.
4. AK's flip nature post leap: AK's nature is to flip.. She flips sides... I feel that is part of her character...Since AbhiM has come back into her life post- leap, she is EMOTIONALLY shown flipping and once post AbhiM accident, she acted on her whim too.. But one thing till date post- leap, she has remained consistent on (which is opposite to her nature) is to not let go of her FAMILY whatsoever are the dynamics between her and AbhiN through thick and thins.I feel that it is a big transition in AK as a character where she is holding on to something for HER happiness.
3. About that night: AbhiN in my POV is very sensitive person. He understands humans very well, that includes AK. AbhiN and AK had their moments yesterday. It was AK who did not mind standing very close to AbhiN. In the swing scene, there was lot of hesitancy in her approach but today it felt natural. She liked basking in the looks that AbhiN gave her. Just before the song, when AK and AbhiN were standing facing each other. I felt AK was expecting AbhiN to make greater move. She was not ready for it but had decided that she would give in if that happens. To her surprise, AbhiN did not do what she expected. He sensed her non- readyness. He talked about her singing. For the first time someone said he is okay with any choice that she makes, even if that includes not singing. AK is used being largely told what is good for her.. What choices she should make... Indirectly or directly... Here is someone who allows her to be herself.. Giving her 'Khula Asaman' in true sense. I really loved how Pranali acted during the ' Apaki nazaron..' song. She diplayed all the subtle emotions very beautifully.
In future, AbhiN may not remain part of AK's life, as he is is not her soulwala love, but she will definitely remember him for the great companion that he was to her. Hopefully!
