Seriously! Like , when Akshara and Abhinav leaned on to each other for support, they cooked up their own stories that she was being coerced into it and was uncomfortable doing it. When she said she would choose Abhinav all over again if she had to, they said she was saying it just because she feels burdened by the gratitude she feels for him. When he held her hand while seeking some comfort from his wife, they started they "manipulation" BS again. Now that they've exhausted every possible excuse there is, the newest agenda is "Akshara is being unfair to Abhinav too by leading him on. She should let him go, even if she doesn't want to get back together with Abhimanyu." N all that single mother, independent women schmuck. Like seriously! For months together they've degraded Abhinav and even Jai Soni, the actor in every possible way, which they still do to this day btw, but want neutrals and Navra people to buy their "Abhinav injustice prevention brigade" facade.

Yeah Abhimanyu dialogues were bad and Aarohis good..lol this is the charm of yeh rishta. Don't know who is more bad character. It flips between these 4 leads based on the episode. Thankfully no real vamp like Ektas serials.

Real vamps are more entertaining than yrkkh slow poison vamps atleast in supernatural series they will have good comic timings 😆 yaha par sabka mooh sada hua hai. Pura positive karkar bhi kya faida when the main thing entertainment itself is missing.

I liked rakhi dave in anupama. Ab woh bhi missing hai. 😂

They've been on single independent mother stance for long dear. It's just that in between they thot Ak will soon sing jaaniye & run into bachhu's arms, which didn't happen. They thot Ar would turn murderous & try killing her own sis or nephew, which didn't happen. Then it was thot Nav would turn grey/psycho in his insecurity, which didn't happen. Then it was thot Abhir would respond to khoon ki pukaar, which didn't happen. So now back to single mother & woman empowerment stance 🤪

I only watched her bade acche 2 only in recent years and in that MIL manipulations were too much. Everytime they get third lead and she and MIL will be busy plotting planning. I used to forward all those scenes as too much negativity.

Atleast Manjiri Abhimanyus character still looks more real and I don't forward them. Kabhi kabhi Mahima shouts a lot too and I forward her scenes.

Anupama I only watched couple of episodes when I am at my parents place. But woh tho hai Albela also was super negative and that is Rajans serial too. Their her own sister always trying to kill lead only because of jealousy. It was disgusting to watch. Now I left even following that.

Who is "they" ?? Abhira fandom? Why are you clubbing a whole group of people in one thing? Different people have different perspectives. Also, I do want to point out that the reason why people had these theories is because that is generic ITV. These tropes are common, and that's why people have been talking about them. I applaud the makers for not doing any of those tropes and keeping the story interesting ( read confusing).

@bold That's the exact reason I didn't write the word Abhira fd. Ik all don't share the same views. And you can't honestly expect me to remember the username of each person who'd those views/expectations. So, I specifically wrote "they".

@bold that is what I mean. The way you talked about it you clubbed wanting Ak to be an independent woman to get back together with Abhi to thinking Arohi will go negative and other stuff as if it is one narrative. But in reality, different people have different stances even within the fandom, forget about people who are neutral.

And of course these theories exist because of the expectations from ITV. The ML winning ( ML and FL being reunited) is also an ITV trope. I don't know much about the pak drama ppl are talking about. But people have different ways to defend their fav character.

To be fair, this is the first forum I have been on. Are people not this defensive of ML in general ? I think the ITV expectation is that the ML will be butchered esp when the FL is pregnant so they have the separation then and they get back together in part because of the kid.

I really hope that Abhi gets a good redemption arc. I also feel like it's about how Abhira vs Navra were introduced. Abhira was a big love story and Navra we didn't even see a wedding for. If the story direction is Navra, then the writers have seriously messed up. A slow burning friendship to lovers story would have been amazing. I am all in for that. But in my mind at least it would be way more romantic and special and they would have spent a little more time on it before pushing stupid Abhir illness and custody battle down our throats. At the end of the day, the writers want Abhira. If we want to keep watching and enjoying the show, we have to be ok with that.
