AR, the next AK in the making..

Love is a strong emotion that makes two people stay together. In case of romantic relationship passion is also strong a component. Love is more about how YOU feel when the other person is around you.

Committment on the other hand, is a decision to be with someone through their good and bad times. Committment needs consistency. It includes being with the person when they make mistakes as committement involves accepting the person with their flaws.

Love is like a Roller coaster ride giving you adrenalin push whereas committment is like freight train. In roller coaster ride, you need to safeguard yourself all the time as there are high chances of injuries but the freight train even though looks boring has the ability to carry huge weight for long distances.

AbhiM can love... No doubt about it..He loved/ loves AK, he loves Ruhi and now, he also loves Abhir. But, he loves people because he feels 'GOOD' when they are around him. When they start making him feel not good, he would forget them or worst push them away. Hence, he is not consistent in any of his relationship except with his Mother. AbhiM is very poor on committment.

People who start sharing life with him become the victim of his non- committal nature. Their are highs where you are world to him and next you are nobody to him.

His first victim was AK. She has been through this roller coaster ride.AbhiM showering love on her on some days and abadoning on others. I remember a scene where AbhiM was making AK wear bangles during a contest and he was so upset with her that he did not even realize that she got hurt.

His next Victim is Ruhi. He is non- committal with Ruhi as well. He has made that little soul go through so much pain due to that. Saying not marrying, then marrying and again not marrying. I feel her pain and tears but AbhiM does not. He wants the little child to accomodate his newly developed love target.

AR is his latest victim. He does not even remember that she is his fiance now. His going to be life- partner ( eventhough it is for Ruhi's sake). He does not make AR party to any of his decisions. Just like he took AK for granted when he made decisions, he is taking AR for granted in his decisions. Neither AK was his companion nor AR is... they were and are his subbordinates..

AK and AbhiN relationship is just the opposite. They have started the relationship only with committment. Committment to be Abhir's parents and they have fulfilled that committment for 6 years. They have also fulfilled social husband- wife relationship as they committed to.

Only once, AK broke this committment during AbhiM's accident and soon realized that she was wrong. She prioritized committment over her heart. Even when AbhiN was in pain, was feeling that he is not needed in this relationship, still he never left. He expressed his agony during the outside tea night scene but still stayed. Even AK stayed. She made every possible effort to make this relationship work.

Today, both AK and AR are in similar challenging situation but you can see the difference between them. AK, being in a committed relationship, can face the situation with lot more emotional strength wheras AR does not know what's going to fall on her and her dear daughter the next moment. Kairav was so right for not attending her engagement with AbhiM.

Everyone responds to the non- committal relationship with AbhiM differently. AK felt hurt, scared and moved away, Ruhi, the child is getting jealous, angry and in destroyer mode. Now, AR will resort to anger, accusations and manipulations...

Their responses may be different but they are victim of the same person, Docman, a doctor who hurts more than cures!

Ar is his very first victim when he ditched her in mandap he didn't remember she was his fiance then. What's new now. All same old same old. Moreover both doesn't have any commitment except ruhi ki parents.

Yes. But he is not fulfilling that committment too.. He should be atleast telling AR as Ruhi mom that he is planning to get Abhir in his house and discuss together how she as Abhir's Masi come new Maa and him would manage the new relationship dynamics...

Loved this! I have been trying to say the same thing for a while now but wasn't able to put it into words properly. Commitment issues can come in all shapes and forms, but in Abhi's case, it is just that-> he gets angry when someone stops making him feel good, and he gives up on them. I do really feel bad for Arohi and Ruhi in this case. But how is Abhi going to handle the relationship with his son?

I think he might keep his son and his mother on the same stage and maybe even transfer the affection and responsibility he feels for manjari to abhir when he eventually has to choose. I think he loves Ak a lot, but only being a father will make him commit in a way he didn't before. I know it's a sucky character, and I really don't want Ak to go back to him just for Abhir. But at the end of the day, people aren't perfect. If he does decide to commit this time around, I really want him to go through hell and stand by Ak no matter what. I want them to move out of Birla house and live in a small place. I want Abhi to struggle ( we have only seen Ak struggle for money or anything so far).

When he initially mentioned living apart and opening up a small clinic, I was soo happy. I really just want that. Because at the end of the day, he has to be able to do everything Abhinav can and more. Otherwise, it's pointless to go for an Abhira reunion.

Even Akshara abd Abhinav married for Abhir .. it should ideally be the same way that AB treats AR .. he did try initially and because it is AR it had irked me as well that.. but commitment starts from when you propose marriage and decisions that have long reaching consequences should be discussed and agreed mutually rather than making it fait accompli for the other person .. So if AB is taking decisions regarding Abhir in his life , Arohi should know and they should discuss and decide how they want to Move forward.. that is commitment .. but Abhimanyu does not understand this part .. even during his first engagement with Arohi , he said he will always love AK and not love AR that way and she accepted .. but she accepted believing while he loves AL , he will not actively pursue the relationship .. but he started that relationship trying to pursue AK on the side in every step .. and he never felt it was wrong of him either .. and while he seems to have gotten better with AR than he was with AK .. he has regressed once he came to know of Abhir … but hopefully he will learn still ..

I am the last person to say Arohi is blameless .. one of the things I hated about the leap is how Arohi faced no consequences for all the evil she did till Neel died .. and I had not wanted AB to marry AR fir all those reasons .. but our Mahaan AB went and took that on himself to propose and convince everyone that this time he is a learned man and different .. yes Arohi not telling AB, manipulating Abhir are wrong .. but that doesn’t make what Abhimanyu is doing about a commitment , right .. he is not doing it because he thinks Arohi is wrong .. he is doing whatever because that is what he feels like doing

Arohi too had same approach she will do whatever she feels like doing it..If I'm not wrong she to took the decision to send ruhi to hostel without giving duck or without even discussing about this with Abhimanyu ..All 4charcters are ducked up ..So it's useless to think Abhi commitment mistakes is bigger than arohi manipulation..
