Major problem with this show is akshara point of view which is missing since the beginning. What is she doing??why is she doing??? All these are fans opinion.As makers failed to show that everytime.

I strongly believe she was responsible for whatever happened with Neil and her babies.it was miracle that her one baby survive but she must not had done that.

Again there is no point of view of akshara from the show.its audience who tried to understand her pov.Nobody knows what she actually thought about white day.is she guilty or not?? Does she feel that she was correct ????we don't know anything. That's why so much argument on akshara pov

This is my point. They have capable writers unlike many shows on air, This show actually has nice dialogue writers

They can add something about that day from Akshara's perspective

I watched the show in first few months then there was Manjari accident track, Akshara left Manjari to die and there was no remorse for their actions, she was all happy celebrating her wedding rituals and I had this disconnect with this character. I stopped watching after Abhimanyu married her because it didn't make any sense to me that he would love someone like her

Pre Leap, Her foolishness led to death of Neil, Neil was no child and he was definitely responsible for his actions but he paid for it with his life but Akshara doesn't feel bad seeing that her sister lost her husband, mother lost her grown son, her husband lost his brother and now, after meeting Ruhi, she doesn't feel anything for being involved in the incident which led to little girl growing up without a father

I don't really feel like clapping for her or cheering for her because they don't include normal human reactions in her character

But I don’t see Ak as inhumane or malignant, a bit delusional perhaps, over emotional and not practical may be. She usually has good intentions at heart but takes stupid decisions and actions. And she rarely understood Abhi or values his love specially if there is conflict of interest between him and anyone else she cares about, she will choose that someone else.

I don’t feel like cheering for her too, she is all emotions for herself but doesn’t understand others emotions, specially Abhi’s. I also don’t like her lying - be it small or big, she has the habit of just brushing things under the carpet rather than be straightforward.

In her defence, in this track there was a dialogue where she said “she accepts everything Abhi said on white day and all the blames” so there is guilt I believe even though she hasn’t explicitly said anything about it again. And there was a dialogue to BP that she doesn’t mind Manjiri’s behaviour because she knows their pain. So there is acknowledgment of their loss too. But Ak is kind of a person who internalises her struggles and pain and puts on a happy face for others. She has done that since start. Personally I don’t like it but I get it.

And I think that is what she has been doing so far in Udaipur and trying to retreat back to her world but unfortunately for her due to Abhir’s connection, she will have to face everything sooner or later. Again a trait I don’t like, she doesn’t act until she is put on spot.

Ps: I have a list of quibs for Abhi as well, but as this post is for Ak, I won’t talk about them here. So no Abhi vs Ak discussion from my side.

I think Ak's character is hard to understand simply because of the lack of POV and her inhuman ability to be happy or show she is happy even when she is sad/guilty. But the real issue for me is that she doesn't change much or evolve in any positive direction. All of her changes are motivated by trauma, not by actual realization on her part. Don't get me wrong, I love how strong she is now, but that strength is still fueled by her anger for Abhi. What happens once that anger goes away? She will be back to her OG Akshu self, this time with Nav instead of Abhi. What will really change? Even during the first leap, she was strong and gave back to Abhi as long as she was angry with him. The moment they got back to normal, she began doing the same things she was doing before. How has she evolved as a person beyond wearing different outfits and makeup? Again, this is hugely on the writers.

For Ak herself, I loved her initial characterization since I thought she provided a good base to grow on. She had empathy and was emotionally mature enough to handle relationships. But in that, I think the issue was Abhi. Abhi never really let Ak become a part of his family/ handle issues etc. So we only ever saw her failing or being stopped by Abhi and then being wrong cause Abhi always had to be right. The whole thing is a bunch of blame on Ak and not enough of her own POV or even any character evolution.

Err why do you think she doesn't/didn't feel bad seeing those things? She clearly did.

Also, it doesn't make sense to me why she fell for Abhimanyu either. Nothing special about him tbh. Just a maniac who is definitely far from normal.
