The fact that Abhi did not believe Akshara loved him enough after the first time where she sacrificed her voice and identity for him reflects so poorly on him. For a singer their voice is their identity, the fact that she sacrificed her identity so that he can keep his (as a surgeon) says so much about her love for him. Before they got married yes I believed that Akshara did give more importance to her family but since then it has always been Abhi who has placed others interests over Akshara. Also he can always defend her when someone is saying the vilest things about her. Even if he is not in love with her (which I dont think he is right now) they have had a past. And even if they are divorced he can always clear her reputation right? He can correct people who think that she left again of her own accord. She did not. He divorced her and refused to speak to her. You best believe that when Abhirs truth comes out in front of the Birlas and Goenkas they are going to bash Akshara. I hope Abhi tells them that Akshara did try to call at that time. If he does not defend her at that time, then he does not deserve to be part of Akshara or Abhirs life
@bold: he may not have much of a gut instinct but he did know his wife well right. He knew her character right? Did he think that low of her that he would be believe that she named her kid Abhir? And obviously the fact that she named her kid Abhir did hurt him since he does not call him by his name and calls him Junior.
Yeah, he is not that empathetic or understanding. It's been the chief issue right, that he doesn't understand Ak at all. He doesn't understand why it was more important for her to save those girls than their children, he doesn't understand why she sacrificed herself for him, he doesn't understand any of it. It's very simple, Ak is a much better person than Abhi, and he fell in love with her for her goodness, but that goodness itself is incomprehensible to him because he has never seen or interacted with anyone like her before. He believes the worst things about her, cause he knows he himself is capable of those.

Bold - I don’t think he meant it in this way. I think he meant he would have been there for the kid. Given the circumstances then, even if Ak had not lost the babies, it would have been difficult for them to just forget Neil’s death and continue to live like nothing had happened. But that doesn’t mean he would have turned his back on the kids. They could still have been divorced or living separately but he would have been around for the kids. Don’t couples who get divorced still raise kids together.
The one issue I had with today’s episode was when he told akshara that if I had known about the baby I would be in Abhinavs place. Which I took as I would have patched up with you if I had known about the kid. I did not want you but I wanted the kid. Correct me if I misunderstood .Effectively telling her I did not love or want you. Only the kid!! Kya Yaar abhi!! You just told her a few months back that you wanted her back with someone else’s kid and now this. It’s so frustrating it’s one step forward two back.
also the damn wedding with arohi needs to be stopped or cancelled. Ek to that madam cannot act, and we have to keep seeing her everyday, on top of that they give a five year old totally inappropriate dialogues. Also akshara ke saamne itna Tashaan hai dr birla ko and in front of his mother he is a bheegi billi. So if you understand that your mother needs to be respected and obeyed have some respect and understanding for abhirs mom too
They have already shown that he still loves Ak and wanted her back (on a hunch that she still loves him too even though he knew she is married and has a child), and now that he knows Abhir is their child, next step would be he either gets to know that their marriage was paper based and Ak (inspite of her “mera patti”) still hasn’t moved on OR Ak realises this on her own (I highly doubt it though) - stage set for them to get back together. So I don’t think it’s a step back, it’s actually a step forward.

And possibly it’s an unpopular opinion but - I absolutely loved the way Abhi explained Ruhi his reasons for postponing “dashi” ❤️ 🥰. Explained very difficult things to the child in age appropriate manner.

Agreed. But how is he going to explain things to her when he has to cancel the wedding. They should not even show a 5 year old talking the way she is, being so ultra invested in getting her mom married. They are sowing the seeds of a negative Ruhi.
Agree. I hate it when kids are shown like this on TV. And Abhi will have tough time explaining Ruhi when wedding is cancelled. My guess is this is where the track is headed next. Abhir’s trust on Ak and Ruhi’s trust on Abhi will be broken. And then they have to mend it together. But let’s see where it goes.

More than blasting, I actually want AB to cut ties with her and Ruhi to cut ties with her matashree. That would give me immense satisfaction. Agree it is a horrible thing to say being a mother myself but these 2 have used and abused their children and dont deserve any sympathy.
