Totally agree with your entire post. It is not Akshara but Abhi who has been giving mixed messages. Right now he expects Akshara to tell Abhir the truth but what about the repercussions. He knows all the accusations and anger will be directed at Akshara. And its not even like he tells everyone the entire truth and takes the blame on himself. With Abhir's surgery he let everyone think it was Aksharas decision to not go to the US. Even now Arohi is still behaves very understanding in front of Abhi but is accusing Akshara. His mother has been absolutely vile to Akshara in front of him and he does not stop her. What does he think his mother will do when she finds the truth. Go and do an aarti of Akshara.

@bold: see this is what I do not understand. Akshara named her son after their wedding hashtag and Abhir even told Abhi that he would have been named Abhira if he was a girl. Do all of them (Abhi, Goenkas) think Akshara is so shameless that she would use the same portmanteau as her first marriage for her son from the second marriage too? And knowing her character does it even make sense that she would marry someone within 6 months and have a baby within a year?? Also forgetting about all that, Abhi being a doctor knew that she has major issues conceiving. The fact that she became pregnant the first time around was a miracle. How did he not have any suspicions that she got pregnant so fast a second time despite her medical condition.

I have no clue why Abhi is seen to be so blind to KM and just everyone blaming Ak for his actions. I really hope they are going to show him standing up for her and saying it's his decision, not hers, and she should not be blamed. The thing is also this, whenever Abhi tries to stand in support of Ak or tries to stop her bashing, everyone now just says why are you doing this for your ex? It has been a hard position for him, cause if he tries to defend her, he is seen as still being in love with her, so no one listens to him. Hopefully, now he can defend her as the mother of his child.

As to the Abhir thing. Abhi has always been like this, he doesn't really trust his gut or anything, just the evidence. Even during the first leap, he thought she left for Kairav, and even when she told him why she really left, he refused to believe her cause no evidence. This time around as well, she announced she got married, so he believed. He heard Abhir is her and Nav's son, and he believed. Moreover, Abhi has always believed that Ak didn't love him enough, so her moving on seems way more possible than his moving on.

The fact that Abhi did not believe Akshara loved him enough after the first time where she sacrificed her voice and identity for him reflects so poorly on him. For a singer their voice is their identity, the fact that she sacrificed her identity so that he can keep his (as a surgeon) says so much about her love for him. Before they got married yes I believed that Akshara did give more importance to her family but since then it has always been Abhi who has placed others interests over Akshara. Also he can always defend her when someone is saying the vilest things about her. Even if he is not in love with her (which I dont think he is right now) they have had a past. And even if they are divorced he can always clear her reputation right? He can correct people who think that she left again of her own accord. She did not. He divorced her and refused to speak to her. You best believe that when Abhirs truth comes out in front of the Birlas and Goenkas they are going to bash Akshara. I hope Abhi tells them that Akshara did try to call at that time. If he does not defend her at that time, then he does not deserve to be part of Akshara or Abhirs life

@bold: he may not have much of a gut instinct but he did know his wife well right. He knew her character right? Did he think that low of her that he would be believe that she named her kid Abhir? And obviously the fact that she named her kid Abhir did hurt him since he does not call him by his name and calls him Junior.
