I wouldn't say going low but he is allowed to react this way considering such a bring truth was revealed to him. we shouldn't expect the same from someone who's known for truth for a long time vs someone who just found out and not even by direct means. and this truth is not even something trivial... its about knowing ur blood, ur son's survival after believing otherwise for far too long
