Manjiri is the main source of his problems. She is too overbearing. If Abhimanyu can somehow cut Manjiri's influence in his life and control his implusiveness, even now he can have a much better and peaceful life.

Abhir has a heart condition and Akshara is trying to take him away to US. Does she not understand his condition. He could die in this condition and Akshu is trying to ease her fears.....by keeping Abhir away from Abhimanyu. Abhimanyu has made massive mistakes but Akshu is spoiling her own case.

I don't want to talk about what happened before the leap or how his character is, just where he is right now. He genuinely cares and feels happy around Abhir (this is far from reality because who is actually like that around their ex's son from her second marriage lol) but it is ITV so they have to show some type of connection since they are blood related.

Abhimanyu literally doens't have anyone right now. He's all alone!

His mother whose mere concern is to remove Akshara from roaming around her son. She has no idea what makes her son happy. She wants him to be in a marriage he wants to run away from.

Arohi has always been selfish and she will remain selfish. She doesn't care about Abhimanyu at all. She is a grown woman in her early 30s but doesn't see how unhappy Abhimanyu is with everything going on right now. She is basically forcing her and her daughter on to him.

Ruhi loves her poppy but I can already see her having a difficult time sharing her poppy. I feel like abhir might be fine (when Abhira unites) but ruhi will be selfish, she will want him all to herself.

He genuinely had a good bond with Nav but they are slowly destroying that as well. Both Akshara and Nav are blaming him when he's genuinely trying. Of course the parents don't know and they are just being parents but when it comes to Abhimanyu, he's literally thinking about abhir all the time and is prioritizing the child.

Abhir currently shares a good bond with him (sometimes it goes overboard like this child literally wants docman at all times) but it might not last long if they decide to bring in a custody battle. If Abhimanyu tries to take Abhir away from his mama papa, he will start to hate his docman. All he'll know is he's trying to take him away. I am sure when Abhir finds out, Akshara will tell him the story (in a light way of course) as to what happened.

Granted Arohi is selfish, every character in this show is, how the eff is she forcing herself and her underage kid on a man who is much older than her, has a more secure familial position of raja beta than the widow of the adopted son i.e her?

Is he an infant mentally incapable to consent? Is he disabled like the ML of Banni to consent?

No. He, a grown ass man with a job as severe as a cardiovascular surgeon, consented to father Ruhi and get engaged to Arohi. That comes with its responsibilities.

Yes it does feel sad to see Abhimanyu being just the shell of the man he could be .. and writers have given a lot of the sad abhimanyu and Harshad Chopra has beautifully brought the hopelessness, chaos, his little joys etc to life .. but for the life of me I never understood why everyone else is being held responsible for his behaviour or where he has put himself other than him .. first time when he chose Arohi it was his choice to go with Arohi if Akshara was unavailable .. Akshara hadn’t done anything to make him choose Arohi .. but Akshara is held responsible for him choosing Arohi and the truth coming out in a bad way .. when he brought the police and drama to Goenkas , Mahima and Akshara are held responsible , but not sure why a grown ass man who must be at least 30 cannot be accountable for his actions .. then the white day - it is Akshara, her bad actions and Manjari who are responsible .. then now he has again by himself home and proposed and convinced everyone for his marriage with Arohi .. but who is responsible ? Akshara because if he knows about the son he will not marry Arohi and so it becomes Skshara’s responsibility to correct his mistakes and prevent him from making them and if she does not then the whole issue is because of her .. this really irritates me .. like every one else is horrible and bad and Abhimanyu is the sole pure person .. this really irks me and makes me let go of the sympathy I feel for his situation ..

And watch him go to a whole different level with the custody battle. I just hope he talks it out with Akshara to co-parent at least once before he decides to get the custody. I am not justifying him nor will I ever defend what he did, but if he wants to redeem himself, he simply can't go back to where he was and impulsively decide to snatch abhir away.

I thought ye rishta was all about families or at least thats what I've read/heard about previous seasons but here there's no family support for anyone.

Akshara was lucky she found Nav, Abhimanyu has no one.

I feel abhi might not go for custody it would ruin all his realisation and also the dream which ak saw so i feel ulta has to happen now.

I was with akshu on custody case but if they show akshu running away carelessly holding abhir as there is a bts that akshu if going to USA with the child just because she is too scared to face the truth or people then I want Abhi to go for a custody case. She was careless in the past too like she went to the jungle by following a kid and she was about to loose her life and her kid's life if Abhi would have not saved her. and now if Sharma couple runs with Abhir in the name of protecting him from Birals they are literally putting his life at risk as anything can happen during traveling.

One more reason i want a custody battle to happen is that I want both the leads put forth al the frustration they have which will not happen if something is not at stake.

Abhi will put forth all the irresponsible things akshu did where she could have almost killed herself and abhir.

Akshu will put forth all the tortures she faced including manju's kaand. I would definitely want to see this 😆 mera bhi frustration nikal jayega 😆

Both the leads can put all the points to each other without going to custody also and didn't you see the Precap ? The hospital due to which abhir life would have gone any mom dad will want their child to get treated their? No i guess. So if custody happens na this point will also come against birlas only. So it's better than going to custody they talk and co parent and slowly sort out the issue rather than going for custody it would verse the things and also I don't think the dream which they showed as ak fear of kid being snatched makers might show something else in reality.
