Anupama's family was never allowed to enter or humiliated by vanraj and his family but abhimanyu treated akshu's family as his own family and still taking care of them even after his wife left him.

Abhimanyu has still lot of respect from my end. A white day can not take away my love for his character.

I have only seen Abhimanyu till from beginning of s3 to Tilak 1(the gopi festival arc).. That was when I dropped it.. The character Abhimanyu did not suit me much.. and now watching after the 2 leap

I really do think he is a mix of Vanraj and Virat.. but not that he is not negative character like Vanraj.

There are many traits he share with both the characters.. that extremely irritate me.

With Vanraj.. he shares

1. that extreme anger( added with Growling and eye popping)

2. His anger is always only directed to anyone he thinks is under him.

3. He does mistakes and later 'realizes' that he did those mistakes and is sorry about it.

4. He gets extremely jealous.

5. When he loves, he may bring the moon to your backyard, and when he hates, he might even crush your soul.

6. He is a Mahadev Bhakt(This is a stupid and superficial point.. no need to even consider it.. i just wrote it.. because I just remembered)

With Virat he sadly share much more:

1. He is an emotional fool.. who claims he is a man of reason.

2. He makes promises impulsively under extremely emotional situations only to break them later on.

3. I swear both these idiots go through the same round of wallowing in self pity phase... extremely unwatchable.

4. Again, the ANGER.

5. cannot manage relationships in a balanced manner.

6. He is mostly responsible for his pains.. but blames it on situations.

7. Unless someone blast him and show him mirror he would never realize his mistakes.

8. And mostly being pyaar mein Devdas and poor understanding of moving on

9.In anger he can hurt people who he thinks are his(technically under him)

Again.. Abhimanyu have many nice qualities.. just like Vanraj and Virat.. but for me all 3 of them were very poorly written ITV characters.

Abhimanyu was never that great of a character for me even in the beginning or after the second leap. And As I have ranted in a post before.. I really do believe that Abhimanyu was never butchered on the white day.. He was always impulsive.. quick to anger and judge and most importantly.. feels OK to hurt others in anger

Yes, he must have supported Ak many times.. and was extremely vocal about his feelings.. but his love feels like "Nobody can hurt her... only I can hurt her.. she is mine.."

And sadly... That is my definition of toxic love.. Love doesn't give you the right to hurt your loved ones..

At least with Anuj Kapadia..he did want anyone to hurt Anuopama and he himself did not want to hurt her in anyway (at least intentionally).. Now that I hear he is butchered.. I don't care.. the Anuj before butchering had the opposite definition of love from Vanraj, Virat and Abhimanyu.

And that is why I compare those three.. it is their attitude towards their partners when they are in anger.

Anuj also got angry(Pre butchering) but even in anger he was never cruel towards Anupama.

The 3 Abhimanyu, Virat and Vanraj.. becomes down right vindictive in anger. only to later be blasted by someone to realize their mistakes.

And Hence I stand by my opinion.

I have come across some kids who usually have anger issues when they see their parents are in bad marriage. 2. His anger is always only directed to anyone he thinks is under him.

He gets angry on hb and ppl whom he loves. Even he has spoken rudely to manjari for not agreeing to divorce her abusive husband. He even asked akshu to not to get involved in his family matters as they are very toxic.

3. He does mistakes and later 'realizes' that he did those mistakes and is sorry about it.

Yes.

4. He gets extremely jealous.

He does not as currently he is not reacting and doing his job as a doctor. He was jealous initially but later he decided to move on and accept arohi and started ignoring akshu too like how he is directly doing now. Now also when akshu made it clear he let her go. But abhir truth may change his behaviour so can't say what writers have planned for him

He hates arohi more than anyone since you have not watched epi arohi almost got his mom killed and then she even started black mailing him saying she will reveal akshu that she can not become pregnant. Arohi even put harrassment case on her but look at them now. He forgives and forgets.

I have just added my points as you mentioned you have not watched post tilak.

Vanraj was abuser from the beginning. Abhimanyu was shown throwing tantrums in two instances as far as i remember and whatever i have seen

1. When akshu left him for one year by agreeeing khera's stupid condition

2. White day when he lost 3 ppl including his kids.

Not saying that abhi is correct in doing that but vanraj was negative from beginning and virat and abhimanyu had to be butchered as trp audience likes some freshness in the story as if they are together story will be stagnant like how they did with anupama now. Where anuj was butchered too. He left anupama without even thinking about her. If not leap they will just show every day romance or just manju drama or birla drama which may not appeal trp audience.

But as far as i know for ghum ml was happy with pakhi even never used to care about promotions so fans demanded for new ml.

I wouldn't compare both these serials as the audience and story characters are quite different.

And with Anuj' s entry, there came back a freshness to the show, and had reached 4+ Trp as well, and people came to love him.

But Anupama as a show itself has become very stale now,since they tried to balance her doormat life with her new life, and that did not work.

Where as abhi was never was an abuser unless they had to take a leap. He motivated her to pursue her singing career. Went against birlas and stood by her. Even went to jail for her. He did everything for her. Even respected her maika and took care of them like his own family. Hence i like abhimanyu as i respect those men who supports women in their career and treats her family as equal.

But everyone has different perspective and different expectations from the ml so i will not question other for choosing abhinav over abhi. But my expectations was mainly on career as i am a carrer oriented girl and treating my family as equal which abhi did.

Why would she choose Nav's seeda saadha love pover Abhimanyu's pure soul love?

She is the goddess of love. Her partner can desert her when she is at the lowest, but she would still love Abhimanyu.

Yeah, many people feel their love is toxic.(many like me) but that is what they chose. They want a toxic love.. Their love is like a firestorm in which not only they destroy themselves but also engulf others in their flames.

I wouldn't say Ak isn't realistic.. because I have seen people pining for their toxic Ex (Even when the toxic ex strangled them... so sweet)

Ak is still affected by Abhimanyu.. yes, she is alowing herself to move on... She even told her kanhaji that .. dil and dimag thing.. her brain does give her sensible adive to move on.. but her heart is still waiting for the day Abhi's 'redemption' finish and she can unite with her soul love.

And having these many years of ITV watching experiece in ITV.. heart always wins over brain.

To All the non toxic Navra fans: Let's just hope there is atleast mention of co-parenting when Abhira unites.

Abhira can go back to their tandav days for all I care, just give me Abhir - Abhinav scenes and I’m happy 😆.

I am not able to connect with Akshara and Abhimanyu keeps flipping 🤔 im finding it difficult to understand leads & their ‘love’ . So I think I’m better off with not paying attention to them

But in the end writers ruined it all inorder to maintain trp. If the story was gone in healing way it would have been better.

But cant say much about it. So anyways i am not watching this show for story as i have lost hope on the story when took first leap. Just watching it for harshali and abhir here.

Biggest mistake of DKP to bring in Aditya Hooda traits in Abhimanyu.

Aditya Hooda was never a mamma's boy.

Whatever Anjana and Harshvardhan Hooda had between themselves did not bother Adi at all.

He was a man child since day 1 and made no attempts to change.

He could not enslave himself to anyone.

In short Aditya Hooda with all his flaws was a very well written character. It is very difficult for an actor to win an audience which Harshad did.

DKP thought he will repeat the same magic again but it backfired.

A USP of Aditya Hooda

He never got manipulated by his mother. Anjana tried everything to get in his good books, loved him so much that she killed her own daughter in law.

Tbh i don't have problem with abhinav my problem lies with akshara and abhimanyu as i will only keep expections from these two.

I have only one expectation from abhinav i.e if he could tell abhi that this is your child too. Because more than akshu abhi has good bonding with abhinav. Abhi never did anything wrong to him. Even saved his life and going to save his ex's child life ignoring his personal issues and rejection that he recently received from akshara..

If he really want to call him bhaiji he should act like one. Else it's better he don't fake that relation and call him doctor instead.
