This is the crux of it for me. I was watching the scene where she realizes he sold his cars and brough the money for Abhir's surgery yesterday and I felt for a moment that had this been any other show or this ship a definite they would've made this a crutch moment, 'the' moment where it all clicks for her and she's like this man is it. But they don't really. One can call it subtle but I call it sneaky because this is what happens with these two time and again. Akshara's not really shown feeling anything openly. All these moments are shot so matter-of-factly, so this happened and then that happened, that rhythm, those highs and lows are lost in translation. Like her finding out Abhimanyu did that to Abhinav will definitely disgust her. That's consequentially predictable. But what does it mean in terms of Akshnav's arc? Will she feel even more gratitude that this man who was insulted and cornered by her ex husband like that kept everything aside and went to his knees in front of him for their son. And if she does what will that gratitude mean emotionally? Will it be one of ehsaan -- he's done so much for me. Or will it be of awe and love -- this is the man I'm married to.
Those nuances, those emotional beats are just not there in the story because Akshara's got to be so vague and muted which makes me think the writers have no idea how far they want to take it and are playing it safely rn. It does kind of take away from your enjoyment at times because you want a little more of those emotional components.
I know... That scene.. the Car selling scene.. in any other series could have made it into the "that" moment.. when she felt something .. but here as we already know.. all the 'that' moments are reserved for only the leads..not the sideys or cameos
Regarding Akshu's lack of clarity from Ak side... I can't blame the writers.. They still don't know, how people will react if they find out the Ak have really moved on..
Now when they are showing that she, once want to move on, many people are interpreting all her scenes with Nav as though she is extremely sad and uncomfortable. She is miserable by pushing herself etc..etc..
I am not able to see that.. All I can see is that there is a little hesitancy.. but overall.. giving herself a chance to move on.. She is not uncomfortable when he holds her in hospital. But She should be preserved if Abhira is the end game... So she like sita.. should only have Abhi in her heart and not 'completely' move on with her current husband.*wink wink*
Personally, I feel the writers and creatives are enjoying the Nav scenes.. It is kind of rare to write a story of a non-biological father and his love for his child.. I have seen non-biological mothers.. but not so much of the father's side.. There are there but.. not so much..., especially in ITV...
That is why they are giving more SS for Nav (Actually.. I don't think that way.. at all... It is just the right amount for the story demands... but opinions don't matter anyway)
As I see it.. there are two stories.. in yrrkkh3..
Abhinav-Abhir story and the one and only Abhira.. the eternal lovers..
When it is Ak and Abhi in the scene.. it is the Abhira story..
And when Nav takes up the screen It is his and Abhir's story..
So that when Nav dies.. The Nav-Abhir story has to continue with Abhimanyu and Abhir story.
