ha ha, as I said it was just my brain going into overdrive. RS has been in the game for too long to know how to play. As for HC, well he is a seasoned actor who knows how things work.

As most have pointed out, if Mr and Mrs Sharma are indeed a real couple, which they appear to be what is the point of her coming back to her ex. Does not make sense. Makers just wanted everyone to be too busy thinking it is JS leaving and sneak in HC's exit. Not saying RS doesnt appreciate HC's contribution or acting ability but the love that was showered on him to me looked too sudden and forced, at least the timing of it.

So i feel abhinav character is indeed ending. As they can't move any story forwards.if reallly hc would have left they would have either showed abhinav as birla kid and shown abhi as dead. But they didn't so i feel he is not going anywhere.

Before you put this tune in my brain, what I said the day of the award was - RS doesn't write or approve the daily script. Maybe he used to do it before but he has several shows now, and he can't be bothered. The CVs probably give him a gist of what will happen and he goes with that. And he's aware of the backlash on SM so he's calming down the fans that the story is still left. Obviously HC winning a Best Lead Actor Award and Abhira winning a Popular Jodi Award while SM is filled with hatred for the show's current track, is not hidden from the makers. While TRP is important - it remains the same irrespective of Abhira/God/Satan. It has remained between 2.2 to 2.6. Itna variation toh was present even pre leap. It clearly is not a measure of success of their track anymore. Online hype/Hotstar ratings/SM presence do not bring in TRP, but it is important to the makers. Which is why they have twitter handles, they post pictures, dole out spoilers.

And never underestimate how much fan power means - it caused IPKKND to shut shop, caused Anandi to get a new ML, caused KRPKAB to shut down. HC has won 7 awards in 1.5 years of playing a character. No other actor is going to get that kind of recognition from the viewers in YRKKH anymore. I'm not saying it won't run - it ran for years even after Hina left. But it serves no purpose to bring in someone new. Hina had no new scope because 7 years of playing the character meant she would have to play a grandmother at the age of 28-29. But HC has a ton of scope left.

HC will never play a side character - the only way he is marrying Arohi is if Akshara is single/a widow. Or else Sharmas will be the leads and he will not play second fiddle as Satan's husband. If he is leaving, what is with the engagement and Abrohi wedding shit? If he dies, Satan, who is their favorite character, will be left without a story - unless she also falls for God, who is the Messiah of lonely single mothers everywhere. Kill off Abhimanyu and the Birlas become irrelevant, Arohi and Ruhi become useless to the story, God has no other family. Will the viewers just want to watch a track of strong Akshara doing nothing because God is perfect so no conflict, no family so no drama. Then what?

I see your point Diya, if Abhinav's character is ending then why show them as really married now. I dont see how the track can progress to Abhira coming together any more.

If HC is not leaving it has to be either PR leaving or KS leaving. Dont see how all 3 characters can be retained.
