I absolutely agree. Nothing he did or said was out of line. He did exactly what any caring and respectful husband would do. Abhimanyu's actions and words, on the other hand, screamed maniac lover. I can't shake away this feeling that he seems borderline. I can't diagnose anyone much less a character, but he does exhibit all the symptoms of borderline personality disorder (BPD). He also seems to be struggling with obsessive love disorder (OLD) perhaps due to his apparent BPD.
I just hope they don't turn Abhinav into a psycho lover as well. Nothing is off limits for this group of creatives.

Right? It may be my bias speaking, but I didn't find him negative at all. Infact, even in his anger, he was trying to make Abhimanyu understand how inappropriate his behavior is.

Exactly! I'm done with her too. Yeh saara self respect ka dhong sirf char din ki chandni thi. Both Akshara and Abhimanyu deserve each other.
It's sad, actually. I don't even want to imagine what kinda people in their team of creatives actually are. Glorifying all the wrong things and vilifying everything morally right.
Even Islamically (a religion that allows polygamy) that won't be possible. It is prohibited to be married to two sisters at one time. What is this guy even thinking? Nothing, that's what. He's hopelessly obsessed with Akshara. Bring him to a therapist already!!!!
He also needs a brain transplant , not heart transplant.
Why is he telling everything to akshu? Go tell his Momma that he doesn't want to marry arooo and roo is not his priority anymore . Go tell them that he won't marry aroo irrespective of akshus reply to his proposal bec he loves only akshu . Stop the wedding first ..unless he wants aroo and akshu both as his wives ...one for momma and one for himself.

What BP said about Abhi today was actually true
Maybe makers gave him Abhimanyu name because he is always stuck in the maze , but here the maze is created by his own actions.
He is just repeating same old game of pingpong. He never left Arohi till Akshara confessed his love for him earlier either
If he is so desperate for his Akshu then why not refuse to marry Arohi first. Back up plan is always ready for him. He doesnt want his Akshu back .. His problem is he cant see her moving on with Abhinav when he cant move on himself ..
God damn how can a guy behave so childish even after claiming to be Father figure for Ruhi..
Whats happened to his promise to Kairav . 🤣
Correction: Abhinav's Akshara. He gave up Akshu six years ago when he left her for the wolves.
This dude is disgusting for real.
OG abhi , abhi 1.0, abhi 2.0 and all abhis thereafter , all are morons.
Basically the precap and today's scene proves that he hasn't changed a bit from his original self.
What he's doing is not love. It's coercion .
I will go a step further and say he has gotten worse.
I was referring to Abhi's thought here. For me his akshu was killed the day she lost their babies and was kicked out of the house

I meant that correction in a playful manner. My bad. I should have specified, but I'm right there with you.
As if his pervious actions weren't bad enough, this guy is on his way to become a homewrecker as well. For once, can he think about anyone else other than himself and his mother? He doesn't even care about Abhir.

Nice post Simmy. Firstly i think both Jay and Harshad nailed the episode. Both are great actors and i got goose bumps watching them. I loved how Abhinav responded to Abhimanyu and not ready to give up his wife for obsessed mental lover. I definitely love this Abhinav than who would have sacrificed his wife for a guy who left her on streets and refused to listen about their kid. I'll say acha aadmi became more acha aadm not bura by giving his wife that respect he should give especially when he saw her struggles for 6 years.
If he knows Akshara also wants to go back to Abhimanyu, he will step back without even thinking.
@Bold First time ever I was right about ITV's character. Thank you writers for keeping atleast Abhinavs character intact :)
I'm so glad!
Abhinav: "Pyaar zabardasti nahin karta! Woh bandtha nahi!"
Abhinav: "Ek rishta [husband] nibhane ke liya, dusra [friendship] toh nahi bhul sakta"
Abhinav I LOVE U, Abhi please take those words to heart. You put being a brother and son above Akshu when you took your rash decisions and didn't fight to change them. You did the very thing Akshu did during Manish's heart attack but you took it a step further.
Abhi tumne toh Akshu ko apne khule asmaan se bhar nikhal diya tha, bina chunne ka mauka :C
Oddly enough, Abhi sounded like Arohi when Akshu said "Aru, you see the past but you don't see your mistakes" and then, Abhinav also used Arohi's dialogue of "learn to live with what you have"
