The actors have a great onscreen chemistry but sadly the characters are not compatible at all.

What good is this care when he ends up hurting her the most with his obnoxious behavior and remarks? She is better off without him.

did you guys actually believe they had great onscreen chemistry or is it just this delusion that if you put two good looking people on screen it just works. My problem was never the age difference it is the power dynamics created by the age difference. abhimanyu always had the power in this relation to pass judgements, to punish as he pleases, to issue commands as if he is more master than husband. How is this romantic it is more grooming. This relation is never one of equals, it is always I know best you must obey. When you create a toxic character like abhimanyu you need an equal opposite force to neutralize his power. Akshsra never had the steel in her personality to withstand his blows, he just kept beating her down till she finally broke. Why do you think Arnav from iss pyar despite his toxicity was tolerable, it is because kushi was able to neutralize his venom and push back against his abuse.

If you are watching tere bin you will know why almost everyone had a problem with the slap scene because it broke the power balance, where a man used brute force to impose his will on a woman. The abhimanyu akshara relationship is a metaphor of that slap, he didn’t raise his hand on her directly but with words and actions he imposed his will on akshara. I am reminded of ishqbaaz granny dialogue that relationships should be of takkar, not one partner dominating the other.

I agree..its just two good looking people thrown in..they never built up the chemistry ...abhimanyu has been consistent in forcing his will on akshu ..initially yes akshu was attracted to him and believed that they r to get married but then..when the mu happened and she backed off , for whatever reason, he should have respected her wish..even if she loved him and said no, she has the freedom to say so ..the fire incident was ridiculous to the core ..akshu would have saved anyone from such a predicament , aroo or Neil or Rohan...the point is , there was never a meaningful conversation between the couple , a mature conversation where they pour their hearts out instead of taunting and blaming .

I agree abt ipk..its my fav itv show n it worked bec the power dynamic was balanced ..khushi is one of the rare fls I loved ..again, chemistry is kinda subjective , I don't see any in tere bin..its an OK show though..time pass entertainment. For me chemistry is when there is love , concern, care and respect

tere bin is hate turned love story, if there is love, concern, care and respect already the show would be over in 5 episodes. You have to wait for the story to unfold they are getting there it is a journey. Before anyone says akshara and abhimanyu are on a journey too no they are not, my opinion is they are on different trains to different destinations.

For me chemistry is do the characters make sense together, for all romantic stories there is one simple rule do the characters make sense falling in love with each other, then pick the correct cast who can act out your vision.

What is the most famous love story in English literature pride and prejudice, Darcy perfectly foil was Elizabeth, you can’t pair Darcy with Jane it just wouldn’t work.

@wohi😆

Ipk I love bec of this reason..

I'm not fond of paki love stories..they r pathetic.. the leads will come together in the last epi only..its entering its worst phase . I stay away frm the forum to avoid negativity ..I watch paki shows for emotional n sensitive stories

Agree abt chemistry
