If I am reading the signs right, then Abhinav may die soon to let Abhira unite. I have been open about my liking for Abhinav's character. And I always love a nice father figure. I know.. that many people get irritated by his AA avatar.

Sharma house in Kasaouli had a nice posite vibe about them.. these will be their short stories

Sharma family is there as long as Abhinav is there and he is going to die soon anyways. So till his death, I will try to add new short story about his and Abhir's love. This exercise is just for me to make think positive for sometime. I will try my best to be regular.

Akshara wiped sweat from her forehead. Jam making was much more difficult than it looked. She cannot go for a full time job as it wil laffect her law studies. Abhinav ji insisted on her to concentrate only on her studies but how can she just stay there and be a burden on him. A small-scale business for some time, till she get her degree. That was how she decided to start making jam. Neelamaa was becoming weak with old age and she wanted to sell her utensils. That was when Akshara decided to buy them. Neelama also helped her understand the process of jam making.

“Beta… Aaj ke liye itna kaafi hai.. tum bahut thaki ho”Neelama said and took the ladle from her.

Akshu did not further argue as she herself felt the need to rest. She went inside the home and laid herself on the sofa closed her eyes.

As the sugar syrup boils... the viscosity increases and it becomes much more difficult to stir. She had to use her whole upper body strength to push the ladle.

She was used to cooking. Her kachori’s were everyone’s favourite...but to cook something in such a large scale was a whole new experience.

She felt her eyes heavy. Her back was sore, she expected her back to pain by night. She should apply moov just in case. Her arms on the other hand were already feeling like noodles.

“Toh mehnat ki keemat ise kehte hai..” She sighed. It was certainly arduous task. but somehow, she was looking forward to do it tomorrow. No matter how much it pains. There was a sense of fulfillment in this which she felt but may not be able to explain it to others. She was no stranger to pain. She was physically… emotionally … mentally pained by many people. Akshara stopped her thoughts there.

“Ab yeh sab sochne se koi fayda nahi..akshara… Jo beeta.. so beeta.. ab aage dekh..”

Yes, she can’t waste her time in past. She have to think of her life.. Her Abhir.. Her source of happiness. To provide abetter future for Abhir, she has to get a decent job. She needs a degree for that. It was her way of moving forward in her life. Being independent.

She told herself that she would not sleep but just close her eyes. She would rest for sometime and study.

The sun was about to sleep and cuddle inside the snowy blanket of Himachal.

When Abhinav came back with 4 year old Abhir, Neelamaa told them about Akshara’s first day of jam making. Both the father and son went inside “Sharma house” to see a soundly sleeping Akshara on the sofa. They moved without making much noise.

“Papa.. Mamma jam kyun bana rahi thi?” Abhir asked as they entered the bedroom.

“Nikkiji… kyunki.. woh jam banake bechna chahti hai.. jaise neelama karti thi…. Waise..” Abhinav answered as he helped his little prince to change his clothes.

“Par kyun.. Aap toh paise leke aa rahe hona? Toh kyun?”

“Nikkiji.. Yeh sirf paise ki baath nahi hai..”

“Toh Kya hai..”

“Woh.. aatmnirbhar banna chahti hai.. beta..”

“AWKH?”

Abhinav sighed. Since Abhir discovered that big words like ‘National Highway’ can be abbreviated to ‘NH’, he started this new trend off abbreviatedevery other sentence.

“Nikkiji ab AWKH ka matlab kya hota hai?”

Abhir shook his head “Oh Ho Papa... AWKH ka matlab.. Ab who kyahai?”

“Oh.. Aatmamirbhar… Ab kaise aapko samjhaoon.. Ab aap bacheho.. isliye ab aapke har Khushi ki zimmedari aapke mummy papa pe hai… Hai na?”

Abir nodded

“Par jab bade hote hai.. toh sabko apne apne khushi ke liye mehnat karani padta hai.. hum hi humhare khusyiyon aur dukhon ki zimmedar hotehai..”

“Mujhe bhi bade hone ke baad mehnat kari padegi?”

“Haan beta.. iss duniya mein sab ko mehnat karni padthi hai…mehnat karna koi buri baat nahi hoti.. beta.. ”

He then told Abhir about the hard work of all the living things.Birds work had by collecting twigs one by one to build a nest. Honeybees work hard for honey.

“Par pata hai.. aapke mumma sabse zyada mehnat kyun kar rahihai?” Abhinav asked.

“Kyun?”

“Kyunki.. woh aapse bohut pyaar karti hai..”

“matlab..”

“Woh abhi itna zyada mehnat kar rah hai.. taaki jab aap bade ban jao na.. toh aapko bohut zyada mehnat karni na pade… Woh padai karke aapkeaage ki aage zindagi aur acha banani chahti hai… Woh jam banake paise banatihai taki aapko who saari khushiyaan de sake.. Samaj mei aagay nikkiji?”

Abhir nodded.

The 4 year old did not understand many things but understood that both his parents loved him so much. He took the blanket and covered his mother and kissed her.

“Nikkiji.. Jab aapki mumma aapki khushiyon ke liye itni mehnatkar rahi hai… toh aapka bhi toh koi farz nahin aap bhi kuch karein unke liye?”

“Haan” Abhir said.

Both the father son duo then cleaned the house. Abhinav made dinner while Abhir was busy making his gift for Akshara.

Akshara opened her eyes as the smell of khichidi reached her nose. Abhir was sleeping beside her.

As she looked around, she saw that the house was clean. But she couldn’t say the same about her bundle of joy. Her Abhir’s face had many sketch marks. Glitter was all over his dress. There was a card beside him. She smiled as she saw the card. There were many striking, seems like her perfectionist son wanted her card to be perfect. Even the spellings. But he didn’t achieve it though as the card read, “Walds gretest mumma”

Abhir stirred from his sleep.

“Mumma… ” He said in his sleep. “I love you mumma”

Akshara felt touched. Her son, her reason to live. She loved him the most.

“I love you too… mera bachcha..” Akshara kissed him.

This was just beautiful!!! A lovely glimpse of how Abhinav must have handled Abhir, instilled within him good manners and a positive thinking. It's true that Abhir is not Abhinav's blood, but he is more than that. They are connected though their hearts and will always be.

It's sad to know that Abhinav will be conveniently killed off to make for Abhimanyu Akshara reunion but I genuinely hope that Abhir never forgets him and always remember Abhinav as his Papa who loved him with his heart and soul!

But thank you for this amazing story! Looking forward to reading more tales of the Sharma household!

second one.. Based on the BTS

Abhinav looked around. There was no one. He sighed. Today's group activity completed everyone dispersed.

Akshara and Nikkiji went to have dinner with everyone.

He held the guitar. He smiled as many memories came back. He slowly strung the guitar.

“Achcha.. toh aap yaha hai Khana nahi khana?” Akshara surprised him.

“Aree! Akshara aap?” A startled Abhinav said as he tried to hide the guitar.

“Aap guitar ke saath kya kar rahe?”

“Arre kuch nahi ji.. Woh mei ise andar dalene wala tha..”

“Abhinav…” Akshara had to just call his name and look at him. He sighed. He really cannot lie to her.

“Aap Hasiye mat.. Par mujhe thoda sa guitar bajana aatahai..” He said closing his eyes

Akshara was pleasantly surprised. “Isme hasne ki kya baathai?”

Abhinav opened his eyes and smiled.

“Kab se bajana aata hai aapko..” Akshara asked as she sat down. All these 6 years, she didn’t know that he could play guitar. She wondered what else could she discover on the way.

“Nahi nahi.. Mujhe sirf ek hi gaana aata.. Woh bhi sirf isiliye kyunki Ramakant ji ki chahthe the”

They both felt silent. Akshara knew about Ramakant ji. He was the old caretaker of the orphanage Abhinav was brought up. Abhinav had taken Her and Abhir to meet him.Abhir was only 8 months old back then. Abhinav wanted to show his family to the old man. The old man was very weak.. could not even move by himself. Maybe he lost his memories. He did not show any sign of recognising Abhinav. Demetia. At least that’s what she heard after they left the hospital. Abhinav rarely talked about Ramakant ji after his death. His childhood guide and mentor.

Abhinav sensed the mood became heavy and he immediately broke the tension, “Zeenat aman ke bahut bade fan the.. Jab bhi Doordarshan mei Zeenat aman ki picture hoti toh unhe dekhna hi tha.. Kya musibat the woh.. humme se kam se kam 3 logon ko antenna pe nazar rakhana padtha tha.. picture beechmei ruk nahi sathi thi.. Sach mei.. Bachcho se bhi zyada ziddi the woh ”

Akshara smiled... Whenever he told her about the orphanage days, Abhinav smiled and joked but did he really have a nice childhood... she wondered. He always says about providing a nice childhood for Abhir. Maybe wanted to give him things and happiness which he did not get.

“Aur Ek baar ek aur zid pakadli unhone.. ki jantantra divas mei kisiko “Churaliya hai tum ne” gaana gaane hoga woh bhi guitar ke saath”Abhinav continued.

“Aur humese kisi ko gutar bajana to chod .. pakadna tak nahi aata tha… Sach kahoon toh humese kisi ko bhi gaana gaana aatha hi nahi tha..Isi liye saare ladkone chit se faisla karne ko socha… Aur phir.. meri hi kismat sabse phooti nikli.. ban gaya mei bali ka bakra..”

Akshara laughed. She could already imagine a sad tiny Abhinav as his name was announced by his friends.

“Ramakant ji to Strick se bhi strick the ji.. in baton keliye.. Jantantra divas mei koi MLA bhi aane wale the Humare anadhaalay mei.. Aurkya 10 din ka katarnak practice Raat nahi din nahi dopehar nahi.. humesha practice.. jab bhi galat kartha tha to hathon mei lakdi ke scale se maar miltha tha.. . Phir ek din theek se bajana aa hi gaya ji.. Par gaana mujhse nahi gawaya..Agar mei gata toh woh MLA saab toh bhaag hi jaathe… Rosy ne gaya aur mai ne guitar baja ya..”

Abhinav became quiet.. Akshara knew he was reminiscing about his past. He sometimes did that.. Akshara always gave him some space at times like these. She was about to get up and leave when he started talking again.

“Pata hai Akshara.. uss samay shayad mei kitne kostha tha apni kismat mei.. par na zindagi ne sikhya ki jo hota hai achche keliye hotahai.. Us ek gana guitar ke wajah se mujhe tab naukari mili jab koi umeed hi nahi thi.. Mumbai gaya tha.. sapnon ka shehar.. par kisi ne jeb kaat liya.. aur Ek anjaan shehar mei akela bhatak raha tha.. Ek bar mei Musician ki job bhi bohot minnaton ke baad mila.. Main pagar bhi nahi maanga tha.. bas khana de de.. Tab guitar ka ek gaana mujhe zinda rakhdiya ji”

He wiped his tear. Akshara looked on. Her heart was so heavy. This man faced so many bad things just like her. But he did not letthose things affect him. And here she was still struggling with her past. She is still controlled by her past... when will she be able to move on?

“Mumma? Papa? Aap dono khana nahi kha rahe ho..” Abhir cameand interrupted her thoughts. Both of the wiped their tears and smiled at him.

“Arre aa Abhir.. Papa guitar bajane wale hai..” She said as she made him sit on his lap.

“Papa Aapko guitar bajana aata hai?” Abhir asked in wonder.

“Arre!! Nikkiji.. bas ek hi gana aata hai..”

“Bajaio na papa.. please..”

“Abhinav!! Ab Aapka beta aapse ithni sweet hoke poochega toh aapko Aapko bajana hi padega na..” Akshara winked as she cuddled Abhir closer to her bosom.

Abhinav shook his head at the cute gesture by his family. He smiled.

“Aap bhi saath gayiye na, Akshara”

Akshara smiled.

“Chura liya hai tumne jo dil ko

Nazar nahin churaana sanam

Badal ke meri zindagaani

Kahin badal na jaana sanam

Le liya dil, haai mera dil

Haai dil lekar mujhko na behlaana”

Her Family... These days were filled with so much tension and anxiousness. She really missed this calmness.. This peace…

“Bahar banke aaoon kabhi tumhaari duniya mein

Guzar na jaaye yeh din kahin isi tamanna mein

Bahar banke aaoon kabhi tumhaari duniya mein

Guzar na jaaye yeh din kahin isi tamanna mein”

Abhir yawned as he felt more comfortable. He snuggled into his mother for warmth.

“Mumma.. Hum Ghar kab ja rahe hai..” He asked as stifled hisyawn.

“Hein? Tumhe toh Udaipur acha lagtha tha na?” Akshara asked. She saw the droopy eyes of Abhir and signalled Abhinav. He put the guitar down.Smiled at it for one last time. And picked up his nikkiji.

“Udaipur achcha hai.. par humara ghar nahi hain na.. ghar jaane ka mann kar raha hai.. Tinku se bhi baat nahi hui.. mere saare friends bhi toh waha hai.. Neelamma ki siddhu.. Mera tent.. Bhola uncle ke samose..sab waha hai” Abhir said and rested his head on his father’s shoulder. And just like that he fell asleep.

“Bahut maza kiya hoga nikkiji ne.. isiliye toh ithni jaldi so bhi gaye”Abhinav said as they walked towards their tent.

“Abhinav.. Ab toh.. Abhir ko bhi ghar jaane ka mann kar rahahai.. Hume ghar jaana hai.. jald hi..” Akshara said as they reached the tent.

Abhinav looked at her confidently, “Hum humare ghar wapas jayenge!!”

Akshara also hoped so.. She prayed to Kanhaji that she couldreturn to her peaceful life again.

Loved it! It's nice to see a glimpse of Abhinav's past and how he found happiness in the most simple things. And how understanding is Akshara as a partner and a friend, she knows feeling of pain and loneliness, that's why she knows Abhinav needs his space to vent out and reminisce his past. And how sweet is Abhir, little baby just wants to go back home with his Mumma Papa😭

Loved it!!!

This was absolutely amazing.. nothing between those 6 yrs were shown on screen except few AkshNav convos reminiscing Abhir's childhood memories. This was an amazing take on Sharma family's bonding & dynamics. Please write more of these ❣👍
