Not really. Vedika never came across as a pure selfless soul like abhinav. Vedika was constantly hanging around waiting for the day karthik agrees to marry her and her looking after goenka's always looked from beginning like she was only doing all this in hopes one day karthik will give in and marry her and I saw no emotional connection between vedika and goenka's.

On the other hand you have abhinav who looks incredibly attached to abhir and thinks of akshu and abhir before himself. He is also shown to be incredibly empathetic towards others. Vedika's personality wasn't even properly built up from start the way they have sketched out abhinav character. That's why vedika turning negative and manipulative was no surprise, but if abhinav goes that route it will be incredibly disappointing because of how selfless and well-intentioned he has been shown so far. Also they never built any friendly rapport between naira-vedika beforehand, whereas here they have built up a rapport between abhimanyu and abhinav before all truth revelations.

One big similarity between vedika and abhinav though was that they are both pretty much orphans, except that vedika had her dad who died saving karthik from an accident, whereas abhinav seems to have been an orphan all his life.

Vedika's dad was killed by kartik and he took her responsibility coz she had no one left in the world.

Vedika lived with Goenkas for 4-5 years and bonded with everyone including singhaninias to an extend that they considered her as a daughter and playing ladki wale during kartik - vedika wedding.

Yes , Vedika was a positive character in the beginning and was a sweetheart to Mimi . Kartik considered her as a friend but Mimi always showed her a dream that one day she will convince kartik to marry her. And even she harboured a dream of marrying kartik . Eventually kartik convinced and got married on the same day naira kairav entered .

At that moment everybody was like .. naira mar chuki hai aur vedika hi humari Bahu h . She observed teej ka fast n all in the presence of naira . For a while she enjoyed the status of kartik's wife but then became a jealous wife due to kartik's priorities for kairav n naira . Kairav's health problems played a crucial role in this .

Kartik tried to remain married to vedika and co parent kairav with naira . But his feelings were very much evident . Slowly family members were also melting towards naira and there love towards kairav was naira's triumph card to win there hearts ( as per vedika) . Singhanias already forgiven her .

Suicide drama to blackmail naira , and then later she used reverse psychology with kartik by giving divorce papers to him which backfires on her as he accepted it.

While there divorce procedure was going on .. they scheduled naira kartik re marriage and it was happening before vedika's eyes .

On the final hearing of court which will finalize the divorce , naira met with an accident and both her kidneys failed .. she wanted a kidney donar , her kidney got matched with vedika ( now this is very big medical blunder but it's an itv ) . Vedika's condition for it was to cancel the divorce and continue the marriage .

Which worked out , but entire family was angry on vedika now . Eventually naira got to know that it was some other person who donated her kidney and the doctor was vedika's friend who helped her to fake the organ donation .

They confronted vedika and reminded her that her character used to be a positive one . Like she is a nice person n all . Vedika got a sudden wave realisation , said sorry to everyone and left.

PS: That doctor was vedika's bff and has a big hand in manipulating vedika since the beginning of her character

Kartik considered her a friend and never crossed the line . He used to sleep on sofa after marriage .

In Lost...ML and PL were ex lovers and she was always plotting for his attention even when she was married to his cousin, when he died she turned surrogate for ML and FL's child...who they showed as expired pre leap in an accident and the leads separated. FL was also presumed to be dead but she miraculously gave birth to a girl and raised her alone as a single mother...post leap haven't followed much, the kid's are well casted over there too, they smartly kept high the kid's ss to UP the Trps and then now it's ultra pro cringe with ex lovers love story et all plus too much abuse never redeemed...the plot is so irritating to even follow via WU's...ML is way beyond any redemption, FL was a live wire but she's fire and drab as per plot convenience...they have TRPs so they show whatever is their mood now, audience feedback incorporation looks way better in Rishta though!

I don't exactly know, what was happening but wasn't Karthik involved in OG Akshara's (Naira's mother) death.. Bechara banda.. him being connected to the deaths of his both spouse's parents.. must traumatize him..

Naira went away from kartik after he questioned her character.. he repents what he said but it's too late by then..they believed naira died ..naira raised kairav on her own in goa ..but kairav was always longing for his father's love..post leap he and kartik have a face off....he gets attached to kartik...circumstances bring naira to udaipur but kartik didn't know naira was alive till the day of his marriage with vedika. When he knew , he still went ahead with the marriage but that marriage wasn't valid as he never divorced naira..rest everyone summed up pretty well..

Vedika turned negative as kartik didn't accept her as his wife. She started plotting planning ..

The thing is , even though kartik acted like an ass , he never stopped loving naira..he was living in guilt and regret that he misunderstood naira and lost her ...he never would have married vedika if mini didn't emo blackmail him with death treats ..when he learnt naira is alive , he maintained distance from vedika.

Reg ghum, virat and pakhi married during the leap to adopt vinu..virat believed sai to be dead ..post leap when sai came bk, there was no question of virat sai , coz virat is now committed to pakhi alone...they r parents of vinu and savi and that's what bind them together..sai doesn't want virat and vice versa...here they changed the original plot n got virat and pakhi married..they never marry in the regional show frm which ghum was copied.

They showed pakhi not being able to conceive so there is no question of their children . But they have shown virat and pakhi as a couple

Sai gets pregnant instantly but in a fight with goons pakhis husband dies trying save sai! Pakhi blames sai but family support sai as she is pregnant. But as bad luck has it sai looses the baby and also had very low chances of getting preggy again! The family are still just about supportive! They head for ivf root with a another woman but pakhi was determined to give birth to virats child so sabotage the ivf and does the procedure on herself. So now she is carrying sai and virats ivf fertilised fetus!

Lots of cringe and rubbish happens in between and virat is shown a pathetic husband! During Birth also sai is unable to be physically present at the birth so virat does the honours and that famous most cringe itv birth scene happens! He goes under the sheet to look at his dead brothers wife's privates 🤢🤢

After birth pakhi challenges Sai that virat will personally hand over the baby to her! So she fakes depression! Virat forcefully hands over the baby to pakhi! So sai again is cut out from bonding experience from her own baby!

Sai gets evidence that pakhi deliberately sabotaged ivf and gets her arrested but family oppose and a lot of toxic stuff happen! Sai decides to leave virat with baby but bus accident happens and she is separated from baby! Virat family think she's dead!

It's so toxic! Now they have pakhi being everyone's fave and virat also happily moved on!

Now the scum of the earth is hiding the fact that the adopted son is actually sais and his first baby! He told sai that the baby is dead! He wants to protect pakhi and keep the boy to themselves as pakhi lost her uterus or something!

+1 to everything you've elaborated,l...just wasn't aware of the last part, he's hiding that Vinayak is that son...OMG🤣He once hid a naxalite as she was pregnant and claimed her baby as his for some time, he was an ACP and was rewarded for the same in the name of humanity..he gets away with all crimes...just like Aaru doll, mockery of crimes to next level. Aaru doll is a novice criminal in front of him!
