Can't blame him, his role was equal to that of a set piece. It is kind of sad though. Kaira's both kids should have been given importance but it was always Akshu and Arohi. Even Naksh had a better role than this. He got his own story and arc (not that they developed it much). But Kairav's role is non-existent in the show. If the leap is coming, it will only get worse. So it is better to leave.

I think the bade papa will be the one hiding things now. I think Ak will tell him about the baby and everything but he will hide it from Abhi because of his outburst today. Abhi cannot be a good partner for akshu and in some ways, akshu cannot be a good partner for abhi. Bade papa doesn't want them to be back with each other just because of the baby so he will hide.

I think this all makes sense. Abhi's perspective, he can't keep akshu in his life. He could have waited to do the divorce thing but he isn't like that, if he thinks something he does it. It was anger yes, but it was also him being done with everything. Like he told Shefali today, he knows this means he will be alone all his life, but he doesn't see any other way. Every time he has tried to have akshu in his life it ended horribly.

Akshu's pov, being blamed for everything, she also just wants distance. And she can't get space living with Goenkas and in udaipur. She has to move far away and start fresh with her baby. I hope over time they realize how empty their lives are without each other and eventually they choose to leave their family behind and just create their own life like bade papa wanted from the beginning.
