Love is never enough to get through marriage

My two cents on the on going battle between the two families!

In my opinion Akshara and Abhimanyu should never have gotten married. I read somewhere that you can love someone despite hating everyone around them and also overlooking some serious red flags. Marriage however should be a step towards peace and stability - “thehraav”!

The relation these people share is nothing like this! Abhimanyu is short tempered, egoistic, very conflicting and contradictory in nature. Akshara is confused, easily manipulated, very forgiving and just plain dumb sometimes. But these are good people with flaws. Love can happen if you overlook or accept these flaws but marriage? Thats a whole different story!

You tell me your opinions in the comments!

Akshu doesn’t easily gets manipulated as u said she is kind and very forgiving. She doesn’t gets angry easily and she never holds grudges against everyone

She is one of her kind

She is different to sr akshara and naira

As u said they should never get married but I would say they r perfect mixtura for a perfect relationship

They r far better than kaira for me

There r insecurities in their relationship from both their sides which caused misunderstanding but once they pass they will be better than d couples from past seasons

Their major drawback is their love for their family which is unconditional

As we all knew akshu’s love for family but abhi too loves his family even he secretly wishes his family to be like goenkas but he won’t exprees it because he may think it leads to disappointment

I agree that marriage is a different game altogether but the one shown in yrkkh isn't any close to reality either..

Nobody's life is this dramatic , with plotting planning , not being honest when ones marriage is at stake , manipulations and breaking off so easily ..both the leads are high level dumb and their families are predators...

I dun understand why kaira and naksh r brought into discussion , as if comparing them to abhira is something that will elevate abhira...actually it's all about which actors and chemistry you like, which is again subjective ....if it's being done with proper knowledge , as in, you have seen both the couples journey even then it's unfair to compare as abhiras is still on.

Kaira had the same highlighted family issue due to which mu's could creep in their relationship.

Therez no point in comparing since all couples r unique with their plus and minuses . Comparing will only lead to useless arguments

Abhira is better than kaira holds no value, abhira should be good in their own right ..every couple has their own fan base ..or should I say 'had" bec over the time nobody remembers them fondly as their characters were ruined (except akshara and naitik who were bumped off )

In a real-life situation, if they set boundaries with his toxic family and moved out, they would be a much happier couple. Their own family members try to interfere in their marriage.

Akshara needs to start standing up for herself, it doesn't have to be towards the family but towards her husband, because it does not take much for Abhimanyu to give up and be an a$$hole. Husband & wife are supposed to be a team, but they do not act like it. It does not take much for others to put thoughts in Abhimanyu's head, but I think that is a general man's issue. LOL (I'm kidding!)

Had he just put aside his anger and genuinely listened to Akshara they would be in a much better situation, but the thing about Akshara is that she can go on and on talking in circles about relationships and give out literary devices, like girl just tell him the truth about everything. Starting from the day she left.

That Saturday scene where she finally tells him off was amazing. We need more of that Akshara.

Edit: I personally feel their pre-marriage track was too rushed, the production house should have given them more time to develop their love and commitment towards one another. Now it feels like they do not have much of a solid foundation to run on. Post-marriage it was a lot of Birla family drama. That's why many on here do not like where this show is going, this show needs to be written better, but unfortunately, production only care about TRPs.

I agree with you that love is not enough…but it is a great starting platform to choose someone to spend your life together…however I don’t agree that they shouldn’t have married…I would say they should have communicated with each other every step of the way…but looking at the family dynamic of Abhimanyu (sparring parents) and akshu (unfortunately no parents) they probably never really learnt that …but they can still learn from their mistakes and start communicating now fgs
