Abhi’s life has been very purposeful- driven professionally and disconnected with family (except for Manjari). He is very protective of Manjari and her happiness. Abhi needs to step back a little from being Manjari’s shadow to be able to take in the wider view. He simply cannot understand Neel’s pov at the moment. How he has grown up feeling a “little less than” the others in Birla House, forever feeling indebted and grateful for the kindness shown to him. Naturally he feels Manjari’s secret caused that. Neel is going through a storm of emotions. Abhi is unable to connect.
