For those you who saw season 2 didn't Akshu find out about Sirat Ma not being her mother in a really bad way too? So I would think Akshu would know and understand what Neil may be going through a bit. Obviously circumstances different as Akshu was cared for by the Goenkas and Sirat Ma unlike Neil who has been made to feel like a second rate citizen in his own home by HAM.

Oh wow! Akshu would know exactly what Neel is going through.

In her case I think it was even worse, she lost a parent and in Neels case he is gaining one parent.
