I loved Akshu clarifying the benefits of music therapy to Dr. Madhu.

I hope the makers do some more research on that profession and show us Akshu has the right degrees and expertise to head a department. Show her working with stroke patients or patients relearning motor skills or cancer patients or patients suffering from anxiety.
Instead of having her sing when a patient is having a life saving surgery and is actually knocked off with sedatives and / or anesthesia.

They owe it to the female lead character.

Yeah people were expecting her to feel insecure because Abhi is a doctor and she's not but she proved she doesn't have any kind of insecurity or inferiority complex because she's proud of her profession. She admitted that she may not save people's lives with her therapy but psychologically it helps them feel better and relaxed.

Yeah, I wrote another post about this, but music is Akshu's first love. It gave her a companion and a voice when she had neither. She always has been and always will be proud of it. It is the core of who she is. I loved how she firmly, but gently defended her profession today. In terms of the portrayal of music therapy, I wouldn't expect any medical accuracy from ITV. Personally, I have seen my sister, who has severe mental health issues, benefit a lot from music therapy. Also, when some close family members were ill and in the hospital, music therapy also boosted their morale. It is a very very beneficial and progressive field, but close minded idiots fail to see it!
