That Haldi ceremony was so beautiful, so aesthetic, and just heartwarming that I can't stop smiling. Everyone looked so happy but it wasn't over the top in any way. Especially Pranali. I can shower praise on her performance today for hours because her expressions when they were applying the brush thing were so subtle yet so potent. It never felt like she was acting - you could the gratitude, excitement, and peace in her eyes, akin to a real bride. Likewise, her softness was like the initial episodes (for example, the first Abhira sari scene outside the car). Stunning, just stunning. And the music just tied the scene together perfectly.
The scene when Harsh applied haldi on Abhi was executed so well. The bgm as he approached Abhi didn't take away from the scene - it added to it imo. The slight apprehension in Manjari's eyes of Abhi's reaction mixed with hope for this moment came through. Vinay Jain's is a seasoned actor and his performance is a testament to the same. When Manjari and Harsh share a look after he applied the Haldi, they looked so bonded and married because the look was one of solace and pride. We've talked so much about Harsh's problems with Manjari about her education and career but we haven't recognized them as a team. And that moment, they're basking in the glory of their son's wedding and hope for a family reunion. Manjari's laugh was so beautiful. I was charmed by the both of them in this scene and if I only saw this scene (not their history with verbal and physical abuse), I'd say they make a strong pair.
Aarohi, you care for Akshara and worry for her wellbeing yet you don't care enough to happily share the spotlight with her. Realistic? Yes. Aarohi's insecurities and tantrums are understandable but do not excuse her behaviours. Annoying? Yes, because it worries me. Like Abhi, I'm afraid this self-obsessed behaviour will manifest as sabotaging the wedding. So, Abhi's fears are justified and his sending Neil was smart (I'd do the same). But, I do think he shouldn't have said that because the vocalization of mistrust and insulting Aarohi has triggered her in the past (cough, cough, card-accident), so his warning may do more harm than good. In my opinion, the smartest thing to do was send Neil with an excuse to keep an eye on her without insulting her (with valid points) and angering the beast inside of her (which seems to be sleeping rn, hopefully).
When Swarna said sabse pehle haq maa ka hota hai, matlab uska, Akshara was disappointed. Part of that was because her moms aren't there. But the bigger part, judging by her reaction when Swarna says Aarohi goes first, was that she wanted it to be Aarohi. Her smile was so big when Aarohi's name was announced; she looked like she just won the lottery. I can't even imagine how unhappy she'd look if Abhi didn't change his mind and Aarohi wasn't invited to the wedding. Everyone was slightly annoyed by this decision (Neil begrudgingly accepted it while AG and Manish looked like they wanted to bang their head against the wall - I expect most of the fandom to feel that way), but Akshara was beaming. Her love for Aarohi really does affect (scare, especially if you recall the day Aarohi went missing because Akshara's love is so overwhelming) everyone. I think that may be why everyone's always forgiven Aarohi. It wasn't because they all favoured Aarohi or thought she deserved it more. Like Abhi, they're afraid of how Akshara will be affected by berating Aarohi - either Akshara would stand like a shield in front of Aarohi, in which case they don't want to go against Akshara, or she'll have a nervous breakdown/be heartbroken and hurting Akshara's isn't an option for them.
Hugging Akshara seems to have an effect on Aarohi these days. We know my thoughts on the hug in the last episode and today, it brought out the first genuine laugh/smile we've seen from Aarohi in a while.
I love jealous Akshu! She's adorable, funny, and just so carefree. Her running away from her Haldi to stop that chudail made me laugh so hard. Abhi is so doing this on purpose. I'm telling you, usually he wouldn't let girls like that get close to him or put energy into mocking them (the pool scene), but he just loves seeing Akshu's reactions. He's using this as an excuse to bring her closer/see her and it's genius.
How do Neil and Aarohi find themselves standing next to each other on every occasion. I get the Akshu's haldi cause they arrived together but when they followed Akshu to Abhi's haldi, they're still together. They're like magnets since their first meet and it intrigues me so much because Neil knows her so well - he's seen her most vindictive sides, even today he's like I'm not risking the haldi with you - yet, he comes back to talk to her often.
I'm really vibing with the Jaipur music sequences. The Mauja one was so good!!!!The way it was filmed and edited together with the flashbacks was on point. Looked so fun and the camera angles were great! My favourite part was that it's been planned for so long. Like the dance moves in the flashbacks are the same so they filmed extra scenes with this future sequence in mind.
Question:
The bags were packed by Akshu, right? So what was Aarohi's job? Was it make sure they're all on the trip/reach correctly and present them so Akshu can get ready easily? Cause I'm confused.
Makers, hum purane fans ki izzat rakhne ke liya THANK YOU! Aapne iss baar bhi YRKKH wedding mein itni planning, masti, beauty, sab kuch daala hai that no one can says we hyped it up for no reasons.
