I am okay with this stretching, because this needs to be resolved properly and I'd rather see more episodes of this drama for them to give this entire mess a half baked ending. That would be the worst thing to possibly happen.

Akshu accepting the blame for Aarohi isn't about her protecting Aarohi -- it is about the promise that freaking Sirat took from a child. At this point, Akshu starts operating in auto pilot whenever Aarohi is threatened. She has gone against Aarohi many times before when it came to Abhi -- not just in the accident track, but also during the confession (leaving her at the mandap) and Ruby track. But, when Aarohi is threatened, Akshu's trauma and burdens of the past creep back up. Sirat's promise comes to her mind. The same thing happened during the haldi sequence when both Akshu and Abhi remembered their promises/situations with their respective moms.

Whereas Abhi has Manjari to guide him about his impulsivity and anger (which again, he did not seem to register anything she said yesterday), Akshu literally has no one to help her. She has not a single person to help her see that she cannot keep letting the past haunt her like this. It is quite literally an issue of her mental health.

She is in such a vulnerable spot.. thinking that she has lost Abhi, and now getting triggered by Sirat's promise. I really cannot blame her. In fact, my heart breaks for her entirely.

Also, if everyone is bashing Akshu based on the precap, where is the bashing for Abhi for calling off the marriage? He gave such grand lectures about trusting Akshu, but trust is something you prove with your actions. And he entirely failed her here.

All of this is to say that neither one of them are wrong here. Both of them are acting out of their past traumas and deepest wounds.

Besides, this track is nowhere near over, and in the end, I really do believe this track is about Akshu's love for Abhi. So, before bashing her, I think we need to see what happens during the entire mehendi drama, which will go well into next week too.

This is not even about Abhimanyu Vs Aarohi or akshara's priority..this is simple morality..akshara is lying to the police and misleading them which is also a crime..akshara looses her ber basic sense of right or wrong when it comes to aarohi..she starts hiding and lying just to save aarohi..akshara didn't even Apologize to manjari nor did she asked aarohi to Apologize..

Akshara needs to stop acting like aarohi's mother because she's not..she actually treats her selfish sister like a child and keeps justifying her wrongdoings

Akshara loves Abhimanyu more but the fact is if akshara will not forget that sirat's promise and move on from there then she will keep sacrificing herself for saving aarohi..and unintentionally she will hurt abhimanyu by this action and Abhira's relationship will suffer..akshara will keep prioritizing aarohi over her own self just to fulfill that illogical promise..

Infact akshara looked so freaking lost and miserable in the precap while taking the blame..she just took the blame because of sirat's promise and her natural instinct of protecting Aarohi..akshara has become habituated or i should say she's addicted to sacrificing herself for arohi ..abhimanyu actually made it very clear to akshara that he hates aarohi and can't tolerate her for this reason only

Abhimanyu's insecurities aren't wrong..the stupidity that akshara did by taking blame for Aarohi is what scares abhimanyu..he knows that akshara has some toxic and unhealthy obsession of protecting Aarohi and for that she can go to any extent..and this bitter truth scares and bothers him..

Anyways by doing this..akshara's character development till now is completely ruined and this will be a cyclic process..akshara will take 2 steps forward and 10 steps backwards and this will keep on repeating until a major breaking point comes..I don't know what that'll be..maybe losing abhimanyu or losing her child..but the price is too heavy and it will cost akshara a lot

I don't think that Akshu's character development is going down the drain with this. Her rushing to tell Abhi the truth during the music department episode and also her telling him everything despite his taunts 2 episodes ago is huge huge huge for her. And her falsely confessing to the cops is her acting in a completely vulnerable state, not using her mind. She is an entire mess...both Abhira have lost their ability to think at this point. Whereas Abhi is supposedly calling off the marriage and refusing to trust Akshu/even listen to Manjari about it, Akshu is in complete self-destruction mode. They are both acting irrationally.

I don't blame either one of them.

In fact, I had made a post a few days ago saying that what scares Abhi about Akshu-Aarohi's relationship is the same thing that scares him about Harsh-Manjari's relationship. I agree with your points Pooja. I am more upset with the writers for some of the dialogues for Akshara 😆

Everyone is upset with Akshara and seemingly unable to see why she is behaving the way she is. If Arohi was good people be more willing to understand but because she isn't they cannot understand why. And they keep forgetting Akshara’s pattern of behavior is hard to break.

We can say the same thing about Abhi. His anger is his biggest weakness. He is right to be angry but he is currently not listening to reason either.

Akshara is currently in a completely emotional state so well it isn't like we didn't think she would take the blame on herself because that is a very Akshara thing to do.

At least we agree upon one thing that the way akshu has been dealing with aru isn't right . We look for the window where akshu overstepped and did something for abhi and herself . How good is this ?

Even a parent has to scold their child if they do something wrong. They have the responsibility to instill manners and morals in their children so that they become better human beings .akshu just made it worse by covering up for aru , and take the fall for aru always . That's the reason aru repeats her mistakes and she isn't even apologetic . Manjari could have also died in the accident , what will aru and akshu do?

I can safely assume that akshu is responsible for what aru is. Abhimanyus aggression and his weaknesses can be dealt with love , trust and honesty . But there is no treatment for akshu's aru mania. Akshu enabled aru and encouraged her.

Abhi should have given her benefit of doubt. If he loves her so much he should have at least thought that she won't lie again and again that she told the truth but he was too blinded with hatred for Aarohi and love for Manjari. Unfortunately they have totally rushed this angst track. It wasnt a dream and Abhi bas gone back to Akshara but to me it feels like he wants her at any cost that he is willing to ignore anything and everything.

And now Akshara will feel indebted to Abhi because he saved her depsite such a big kaand. There are 3 big birlas who are not fond of her and she knows it. She is in a vulnerable place and I feel she will be afraid of upsetting Abhi out of fear which is never healthy in a relationship.

Yup the moment Manjari made him realize he may lose Akshara he decided to return to her only because he didn't wanted to lose her. I feel one good step he took is to slowly throw away Aarohi from Akshara's life though I know it's a bigger task than even making Akshara confess her love for him. All I want is for Abhi to make Akshara realize her love for Aarohi is turning into overprotectiveness and self harm.
