I really like sarita joshi the actress. You need a veteran like her to add that strong grip. Dada ji was the glue in season 1 and mimi in season 2. Season 3 doesn't have that elder member who brings order in the house.

They could get someone like vaishali thakar, she would do well in any given role. Stern but firm. I know shes same age as harsh but show mein age ka Itna jhol hain already so I dont think it will matter.

Btw doesnt it look like the Birlas have ignored their mother. I mean why is she not around if she is alive? No mention of her (other than saying she is not with us) and if shes alive then why not even invite her to the wedding?

I think the Birlas are egoistic and materialistic (minus Abhi, Neil parth and manajari of course) so I wont be surprised if they are neglecting their own mum. Remember how they spoke about their village relatives as if they're embarrassed or ashamed.

@Bold oh really? That would be even better and plus Vaishali has worked for hats off production and so has ami trivdei so that's another connection. They need an elder like that for sure. I can imagine Vaishali as the strict bua/dadi. And if shes a village lady then even better because she will add the traditional layer.
