Maybe we like the angst scenes so much because Abhi looks more mature and his age in such scenes whereas when he is giggling around akshara, it does not really fit well with his character.

But gotta say harshad does the best angst scenes I have seen on Indian television. His angst scenes actually scare me! Today when he called akshara a liar and demanded for her to reveal who was driving. Man those moments have me goosebumps.

Hehe haan, she routinely hides the truth to support her sister's mistakes and even crimes, just to gain the favour of aroo. This has become a habit for Akshara.

In the current situation, she finally got courage to tell Abhi the truth, but that's only because she thought the victim was Manjari. If it had been someone else, I'm sure she would have kept quiet, pretending to have a dilemma in her head, but ultimately supporting aroo in a hit and run because after all, aroo and her career, her tears, and her tantrums hold paramount importance in Akshara's life.

Despite Aroo being wrong and doing many questionable things, Akshara blindly does what aroo wants her to. That's not love because if she loved aroo, she would stop aroo when she does wrong things. This kind of mahanta, which I think the show glorifies with continuous chants of aroo aroo aroo, behen behen behen, is so off putting and unpalatable.

You know what I agree with you. That's one of the main reasons I supported Abhi during the Arohi wedding track because Akshara was annoying to force Abhi and Arohi together. She was willing to sacrifice not just herself but also abhi and that was unacceptable. But pata nahi kyun I'm inching towards Akshara this time. I feel bad for her.

I think the difference from previous time to this time is that she did indeed pick Abhi first. Yes it was delayed but she did tell him the truth despite arohis blackmail and despite her wedding being at risk. So she is improving, just needs more support and encouragement.
