The MU b/w Ak-Nk was very organic. It felt real - like something that can and does happen between couples irl.
About spending time even Shaurya was upset with Varsha when she chose to spend more time with family. She was trying to became a better bahu and he wanted to spend time with her. Both were right and wrong in their approaches. That’s what was good about the show- the balance.
Also let’s not forget during the same wedding functions Naitik stood up for Akshara and her family multiple times - be it when mama ji was unhappy with the Maheshwaris wedding prep. Be it when Akshara drank a cup of tea before Puja.
Yeah, If he kept doing it again and again (blaming Ak) then it becomes a character trait like the makers did with Kartik. Everytime Kartik started blaming Naira which showed the weakness of his character and their relationship. (I still feel the makers did KaiRa dirty. But that’s old news now).

Yes he spoiled his own marriage for a stupid thought process . The only reason why this happened was coz miscommunication. He wasn't allowed to talk to akshara before pheras ..when they did talk properly on their wedding night and akshara explained him everything , he was quick to understand that his fears were baseless. This topic never came.up between them in the future. That's called trusting and understanding the partner which he did.
Coming to post marriage , he was never insecure coz akshara put her in laws above her. Post marriage it's natural for the couple to spend time with each other, which is sometimes not possible due to joint family system and expectations from the new bahu. Unlike akshu who does family jaap 24×7 , akshara wasn't like that..akshara was a rebel in her own sweet way..she cared for her family respect and everybody's wishes , plus her own.........even akshara wanted to spend time with naitik but she was overloaded with expectations , demands and rules of her in laws..there, naitik was also demanding.... It was a very realistic track as such problems r normally faced by all couples. Same.issues naira also faced..However it lasted for a short while . It's not about prioritizing its about managing . Priority jisko bhi denge others on the list will complain.
From the 3 heroines, akshara managed to balance everything better . Without naitiks support it was impossible.
And that’s why Naitik will remain one of my fav ITV ML. No angry, hot, manhandling FL to creat le chemistry scenes. A calm, mature, sorted and nice guy .
