Do you think harsh would have respected his wife if she was a doctor?

We've been shown how harsh disrespects women in general. His bhabhi is a doctor, yet he doesn't respect her and puts her down. If he had a doctor wife, don't you think he would be competitive of her too? Now he is used to manjari's pamperings but if he had a doctor wife who wouldn't pamper harsh much, he would be disappointed in that marriage too.

Anand's wife mahima is a doctor, yet they are unsatisfied in their marriage. We've never been shown Anand appreciating his wife's talents or even a single glance at her when she dresses up. They're never shown to be dancing together.

Also, discuss harsh and manjari's failed marriage theory. Why is harsh so dissatisfied with manjari?

Maybe Manjari did something to break the trust in their marriage a while ago. But, even if that is the case, nothing justifies Harsh's behavior in my opinion. It is abuse. The way he treats her is entirely unacceptable, and I don't think it would have been any different had she been in a different profession. The majority of the Birla men have absolutely no respect for women. Parth is kind to Akshu and Manjari, but he throws taunts at his own wife. Anand is somewhat protective of Manjari, but never once have I seen him appreciating Mahima. Harsh loves Anisha, but he throws such vile insults at Akshu and Manjari. The list could go on and on.

I don't think he would have respected his doctor wife either. Actually most of the Birla men are disrespectful to their respective wives. Anand thinks Mahima's efforts in running the hospital are worthless, Harsh thinks Manjari is worthless because she's homemaker and Parth thinks Shefali is worthless whenever she's serious about her career. These Birla men need to be taught to respect their wives.

With the way Harshvardhan is I don't believe he would respect his wife even if she was a doctor. He has an ego and is very competitive. He is not a medical doctor but touts his Phd Dr. title all the time. He is also a male chauvinist.

He is quick to judge and I have a feeling even if the doctor wife accidentally did some mistake he would be after her as well.

Now, I do believe if he was confronted by someone who isn't as soft and can stand up even being under pressure he wouldn't be as domineering. The relationship I think would be the same as Anand and Mahima. These two have very strong personalities. Anand may look soft cause he smiles more but he will stand his ground on things he believes in.

umm no....the whole Birla clan except Abhi and Neil...treat their women like doormats...we have seen with both Harsh and Anand,,,,and Parth is no less,,,,as it is he isnt doing anything but comparison....they want to rule on their wives...weather she is a homemaker or a doctor..
