If that slap is about emotional outburst then it’s acceptable, bcoz manjari is her mom-in-law and she doesn’t want to hear anything negative, but if it’s for Aarohi’s re-visit to the site for tampering the evidence then she don’t have any right to slap her. I am also confused , why is akshu shocked ? She was with aru at the time of accident so whoever they hit , how does it matter ? They should have checked it ..n akshu also knows the accident spot right ? If manjari was found therr , is it so difficult to know that they might have hit manjari ?

And..you bet. She will not only hide the truth from abhimanyu , she will also take the blame n tell abhi that she was driving not aru.

Putting aside all the confusion as to how clever or dumb Akshu is, one thing for sure her dilemma is really genuine and it would need a really good piece of writing to show this conflict she finds herself in. I don't want a deus ex machina scene (in writing terms meaning a magical solution) but want to see how she resolves this as per the character we had been shown so far. Someone who loves her family very much and she also loves Abhi. We know she feels more for her family then the love she feels for Abhi, but there is also a moral issue here as well and of course as a human being.

I would be extremely disappointed if she throws her sister to the wolves but keeps hidden from Abhi what she learns as well. This is why I'm hoping we see some good writing here!
