That's an excellent summary and your analysis of the symbolism is AMAZING. But this episode raises a few questions for me. Why are people more willing to forgive and accept Harsh than Aarohi?

Everyone says Aarohi shouldn't be forgiven because she lied and deceived everyone but Harsh does that all the time. Moreover, he was complicit in her lies about the fire. People also argue that Aarohi has been mentally, and now physically (manhandling her at the temple scene), harassing Akshu but so has Harsh. We've seen his verbal harassment towards Manjari and we know he's capable (probably has to) of physical violence.

I know Harsh cares for his son, it's evident. But, Aarohi isn't heartless either. She cares for Manish and has valid trauma of her own. It doesn't excuse her behaviour but that just means Harsh's care shouldn't excuse his either.

Is it because Harsh is a man and its easier to forgive men in our society and we uphold them to different standards? Is it because Vinay is a FANTASTIC ACTOR and plays the shades of Harsh brilliantly (he is a fantastic actor, I adored his earlier performances in shows like Jassi jaisi koi nahi)? Are the writers doing a better job at his characterization? Or is it something else entirely?

@Ekahriz and @Hari15, I would love to hear your thoughts on this, especially if they aren't similar to mine!

Great review Hari! Great catch on the shivratri poison symbolism and on aarohi shani drishti 👍agree with everything you pointed out. I feel there is also some symbolism with abhi jumping the gate but not able to understand it. Maybe someone can help

Manjari is right as wife and bahu of house she can't chose her son as mom and leave rest of family who gave him love and support. Manjari loves her hubby it's clear always. Though he is narcastic she is her husband so she choses him anytime against her kids. Harsh can't live without Manjari. We need to admit that. He breathes her literally for all his deeds to be done.

Harsh as a posessive, nervous father understand s something is there and manjari knows it. So he will make her blurt next and she spills it .falling of tea on floor is symbolic that she spills next and it's already done in Goenkas.

Akshu is smart to make everyone run and blurt the truth in her way. Abhi can't hold poison for long time like Shivji and Akshu held it like Parvati Mata today.such a beautiful mythology connects given to characters in the name of Shivaratri. Kudos to UTKARSH NAINITHANI for giving the scenes applied to human characters.

Akshara is a blood of Akshara and Naira. They will never accept families to be broken anytime. Their blood is that it binds all families together taking the pain wrath and sacrifices. They once again proved the legacy factor of yrkkh in Akshu.

Precap is superb . Akshu asking him right question where he has to answer. He can never take a decision that way. Waiting for Birlas to know the truth and run to hold Abhi in their way. As BTS is dropped ABHI ki AKSHU , ABHIRA KI SHADI on the way.

Dress code..Abhi in grey kept truth in his throat. akshu chased it next.

Loved all characters and all are right in their place according to the situations.

Manjari’s loyalties are always with Harsh. So no surprises there. But good to know that Manjari is equally attached/thinking about other kids and mahima-anand and not just harsh
Uttakarsh is doing excellent job portraying mythology scenarios in modern times.

I did see Abhi holding this throat but until I read this piece I never connected it to the Samudra manthan and poison 👏 - You guys are amazing.

Ak cannot pacify abhi insecurity only having conversations with him. When she will take stand for him adoption track then then only he will get his answers.

In tilak 1 I am totally with ak becoz abhi never proposed her directly. How can anyone say yes to guy merely 2 day meetings and go against own family for unknown person.

But now condition is different ak is sure about her feelings and ready to fight for is totally reasonable.

Ak is not blaming abhi it's just situation they are stuck in. She never got assurance from her family and she feared that she has to choose bet family n abhi which she doesn't want.

Even after mandir confession Arohi ask her sacrifice abhi for family and know one from family objected it even kairav. In Goenka family everyone like ak is sensible n will not go against family and no one bothered to talk to her about her feelings for abhi even now( specially manish)
