Mainly because of the way Harsh treats Akshu is affecting him....

He wants uski bachchi to be in a family who love her and adore her totally....

In that tt game with akhilesh he even mentions that he some what gets the thought of himself ad karthik when he sees abhi and Harsh..

It would be awesome if its shown.as Manish feeling karthiks presence around abhi ...

Manish thought if he fulfilled their wish they will be happy. So when the kids decided what they want he simply went behind them and at the end all they did was khaand after khaand that had hurt him in ways.

And you are right manish saw karthik and himself in abhi and harsh. So let's see what happens next.

Your view on akshu can't say or do anything about birla's now is so apt. Maybe aarohi would have tried to do it and put hands on things she doesn't have rights on and anyone over their would have shown her the place. Mahima did it.

This is akshu and she knows when to do what to do and how to do. So hey she takes on things that she have full rights on only.

They showed it in a slow and steady phase too. Like abhimanyu becoming abhi, then neil calling her bhabhi in front of abhi and calling akshu over phone as soon to be bhabi, now manjari who her haq to call maa. Next what haq she gets from birla's i am really interested in seeing it.

We are all more into bromances these days than abhira romance. 🤣🤣🤣

How eager we were the day when abhi came in bike to give lift to bade papa. Then their is harsh and manish combo along with kairav and abhi.

P. S : it's ok only Dr. Abhimanyu Birla gets the privilege to leave his patients mid way to hear is lover sing and do a dharna in front of a house for her. Not all doctors can be that privileged.

I personally liked Manish's character in S2 as he is non-expressive mostly but deep down loved his family & respected his wife. Kartik-Manish reunion as father-son after Kartik misunderstanding him for years was loved by viewers...Manish himself got married to Suwarna (love marriage) going against KDadi wish overlooking his children Kartik and Keerti's wish. Kartik hated Manish for marrying Suwarna as he thought their affair was cause of his mother's death so Suwarna wasn't also accepted by Goenkas. Manish shouldn't have married Suwarna considering his family won't accept her but he did because he knew nobody can give his children love of mother the way his first love Suwarna can. Manish didn't want Kartik to get married to Naira as Naira & Singhanias accused him of being Akshara's murderer threw him out of Singhania Sadan though Kartik considered them his family. Manish, KD both were against Kaira's marriage alliance initially and bent only for Kartik's happiness not because they accepted Naira wholeheartedly so Naitik shouldn't have allowed them to get married considering KD and Manish's behavior towards Naira. Later on KD threw Naira out of house, KD and Manish called Kartik Joru ka Gulam tried to change Kaira's equation as husband-wife, Suwarna (the only elder who genuinely liked Naira in GV) threw Naira out of house accusing her of being the cause of Shubam's death. Later on in Mumbai Separation Track Manish and Naitik tried their level best to reunite Kartik and Naira knowing Suwarna won't ever accept Naira infact she had panic attacks whenever somebody even talks about Naira she always chanted "uss larki (Naira) ney mere bete ko mujhse cheen liya main usse kabhi maaf nahi karungi". So going by the logic of DIL not being accepted or hated or disliked he shouldn't have tried to reunite Kartik and Naira as apart from him or Surekha nobody was willing to accept Naira back in that house not even Kartik. His own daughter Keerti was accepted wholeheartedly by her in-laws but her husband was physically abusive therefore being accepted by family isn't only important factor in considering marriage alliances. His perspective is somehow logical as Goenka vs Birla's current situation is quite complicated but its unfair to separate lovers just because his granddaughter won't be accepted by Abhimanyu's father. He should communicate his perspective in a proper way to young generation. There must be a way out for convincing Harsh to accept Abhimanyu-Akshara's marriage alliance in a respectable way than separating one's who are destined to be...

Thank you for tagging me. I agree with all your points and see why Manish would be having a hard time accepting Abhi for Ak. What I don’t agree with is his actions, specially him calling police on Abhi. He is seeing the depth of Ak feelings for Abhi.He knows Ak is mature and not impulsive. He has seen Ak take taunts from Ar, leave everyone that she so dearly loves for sake of maintaining peace in the house. That girl will not defy family unless what she is asking for us extremely extremely important to her. When someone like Ak is asking for something much less pleading , anyone with go back and revisit their decision. While Manish cannot trust Abhi due to all fiasco, I feel Manish should at least trust Ak and atleast try to sort out the matter for Ak sake. He could have very well done what Abhi was suggesting, “baith ke baat karte hain na.. how much will he run from reality of Abhira love and how much can Abhi / Ak chase??? At some point, they need to stop and just talk it out.. explain your reasons for not accepting Abhira, share your insecurities regarding Ak future in Birla house and try to find middle ground. Heck, atleast just be civil with your daughter’s love (I can totally understand if he is not civil with Harsh since Harsh is never civil with him). I think his reasonings to not accept Abhira are understandable but lately his actions are driven by his ego and his desire to please the society over his childrens happiness. Getting the police involved was not at all necessary as Abhi was not making a scene.

From his perspective, Bade Papa is absolutely correct. He has valid points. BP is also shown to love the children and wants them to have the best life possible.

When he said no one likes Ak in Birla house, no one considers her a worthy bahu - it got me thinking. Manjari is a pawn in Harsh’s hand. Mahima is on her own power trip and wants Akshara only to consolidate her superior position in the Birla household. Parth is still finding himself and his wife is a busy career woman who is hardly ever at home. Aneesha is a wildcard - the makers are waiting to see how to use her. Akshara is naive and trusting and without Abhi to protect her 24x7 I worry that she will be unhappy in BH.

So I find Manish’s concern valid.

But I still think he could have had a decent conversation with Abhi about what he wanted to say instead of shutting the gates on him and calling the cops on him. That was a low blow.

Actually Manish is right in his place. Parents are always thinking about their child and their future.

But the way he handles the situation is not correct. He should be more careful.

Totally his latest action is what made us all question him. Then again we need a villian from goenka house to create more drama and manish is the best for it. 😆😆

As for the booth that got in manish, abhi will take it out with his surgery...
