Totally agree Mimi(?)

No one is completely wrong... All characters are humans who make mistakes... I think what is wrong is as Kairav puts it "Tareeka galat ho tou sahi cheez bhi galat hou jaati hai."

So everyone's behaviour, be it Abhi, Akshu, Aarohi, Harsh, Bade Papa is simply making the situation worse, and because of galat behaviour, their sahi emotions also feel wrong.

In that sense Akshu was equally wrong for not speaking up even though she knew Abhi loved her and her sister was going into a loveless marriage. Even Abhi was wrong for agreeing to marry Aarohi knowing he can never give her the love or respect a wife deserves.

And that’s my whole point. They are all right and wrong depending on which angle you look at it from. If you look at from where they are standing, their actions seem justified but if you change angles, you will see how wrong they all are. Again, in life we always think we are right in getting what we think is best for us. We sometimes don’t realize that we are being wrong. (And if you know you are absolutely wrong and are ruining someone’s life on purpose and still do it, then that makes you a sociopath). All the characters in this show are still human.

harsh is wrong in mistreating his wife

here I’m talking about how everyone is behaving is not wrong.

There is never any excuse for mistreating your partner
In a show or real life

Yup! Yes you can call me MIMI or Akshu’s Mumma. I prefer the second one 😇

I won’t compare Akshu’s being quiet with aarohi being quiet…as I said it is about intention…the intention was incorrect with aarohi …n how we look at that intention is our perspective…aarohi is still human …we saw that today…we saw that when she was scared for akshu’s life when she had the accident…but that doesn’t justify her I’ll intention…I’m pro go getter …nothing wrong in that…trampling over everyone to get what you want is incorrect…again that’s my opinion…feel free to disagree

I said something similar in an earlier post maybe 2 days ago - each character is somewhat galat and somewhat sahi in their own way- and that’s exactly why I’m watching S3.

I’ll continue to watch until the first divorce, I think.

Okay one more SERIOUS topic from y’all’s maybe “favorite” Maa of Akshu (if I’m not your favorite akshu’s mother of yours, aag laga dongi…okay that was the last bad joke hopefully)

okay is anyone actually wrong in this situation if you look at it from their point of view…this is from each character’s point of view. I’m playing the devil’s advocate for each one because in real life we all make choices in life thinking it’s the correct one. Most of don’t make major choices in life thinking “oh yes we are wrong and are being a shitty person…” we all think we are justified in making the choices we make

Abhimanyu did all this including proposing to Aarohi because he loves Akshu. Truly, deeply, madly. He can’t think beyond Akshu and he just wanted Akshu and at the end when he knew for sure Akshu loved him as well, he saw no point in ruining Aarohi’s life by making her be in a loveless marriage.

Akshu realized Aarohi never loved Abhi and so why ruin three lives seeing that Abhi loved her, she loved Abhi. She felt Abhi will do something to himself so it was a now or never choice for her. I think she was hoping that maybe they will go home at the right time, explain everything and their families will understand. People like Akshu only see the positive in most people and I think she had full faith in her family to understand her side and she really thought she will stop the wedding at the right time. She really wasn’t expecting everyone to show up at the mandir.

Aarohi. I know many people don’t like her but I don’t find her to be wrong. She’s ambitious and wants the best for herself. Why is that wrong? And to be honest she was never the one who said she did all the things she got credits for. Yes she was wrong to bribe someone for the test but even then I think she was pushed. She worked damn hard and still Mahima lashed out her insecurities on her by always putting her down. Aarohi is still meant to be very young and just starting her career…she only wanted to prove that she’s capable too.

The Goenkas - Namely Bade Papa. He is part of a society and culture that will always blame the girl. The izzat of someone is based on what their daughter will do. On top he has an added responsibility of making sure both Aaru and Akshu have a reputable life because he is not their father. All fingers will point to him and they have. From where he stands: he sees one daughter lying and bribing to do some exam and sees another daughter ran off with her sister’s fiancé on their wedding day. and everyone is pointing their fingers at him and his family only questioning his upbringing. His pride has been crushed.

The Birlas - namely Harsh. He has a son who hates him for whatever reason. Then came a girl who his son is obsessed with and ever since then, his son goes through one thing or another. He thinks Akshu is the root of all of Abhi’s problems and as a father, as calculative and heartless he appears…he still cares for his son. He still wants his son to be happy and have an equal partner. So even though it’s mostly Goenka izzat that has gone ti take a dip in Iccha Kund, fingers are being pointed at son too.

Anyways my point is….one of the reasons this show has worked for so long is the way it handles different human characteristics. Nobody here is completely wrong or right and if they are wrong, their actions somehow are justified unlike other ITV shows where if your negative then you actually are a naagin. All the characters are more human (apart from Akshu but let’s not go there since I promised to not crack bad jokes).

typos please ignore I do type with my nose

You're just saying all this to defend your daughter 😆 Bad joke but I see what you're saying. Also, you should be proud of your girl, she's showing some self-respect by not taking BS anymore (rebuking Aarohi, replying to Harsh in a polite but smart way) and restraining herself from jumping onto Aarohi until Aarohi gave her the 'go' signal 👏

Mahima Birla let the Tilak confusion happen even though she KNEW it was Akshara Abhi was after. She knew Manjari had misunderstood and yet did nothing to straighten it up. And yet, she supports Abhi, Manjari and even Akashu at other times.

Again kuch galat and some sahi stuff from her too!
