*sigh* where to start... Well Kartik stole Keerti (and Naksh's) baby to replace Naira's baby (that apparently died after birth but maybe was kidnapped by a nurse, it was never quite clear). Naira returned the baby when she found out, but Kartik was ostracized by both families. Then the sadma caused Naira to lose her memory and when she started regaining it, Keerti was asked to consider giving her baby to Naira. Then Keerti went to Kartik to beg him not to take her baby and that caused some issues... And then there was some track where Keerti and Naksh's marriage suffered because Naksh was too busy trying to sort things for Kartik and Naira and she started to resent Naira... OK I'm confusing myself here🤣

Tl:DR - when it came to Naira, Keerti was more sinned against than sinning

i know we were supposed to side with Naira as Naira was the main lead but in every single track, it was Keerti that was the one who was the correct one…..the way SINGHANIAS and Goenkas made Naira to be some saint and sided with her…..

No no...not at all Keerthi was a sweetheart(that'sthe reason we want her back now).She was in an abusive marriage with Aditya who would abuse her physically and literally torture her.Naira got to know about it on Kaira's haldi itself and wanted to tell everyone but Keerthi stopped her and told her to wait till the marriage is over.During marriage also,Aditya tortured her which was again seen by Naira and she told Karthik but no one believed her.

Then Aditya was exposed on Karthik birthday later on.

Perhaps in the current season they will right all the prior wrongs and tell a new story ( or retell the old story) - it’s such a smart way to keep the old fans hooked while gaining new fans too!
