You gave hypothetical scenario of placing Abhimanyu in Arohi’s place! Abhimanyu would’ve out right denied the proposal! Because uske liye Akshara ka pyaar important tha aur hai! Not her getting married to him! If it was then he would have gotten married to her in that temple only!

While for Arohi it’s complete opposite! She just wanted to get married into the family! She didn’t expect any love in return from Abhimanyu! She went into this marriage at will after knowing the facts!

The only thing I’m disappointed at Abhimanyu for is dragging this drama till mandap! And him not professing his love for Akshara infront of everyone again and again! This would have given a reality check to both Arohi and Goenka’s! Yes, a little uncomfortable but still a reality no one can deny! It would have been a proof to everybody that Abhimanyu is getting in to this marriage with absolutely no intention of taking this relation forward even after the marriage happens!

What you Said is 100% correct . But I can't lookover the fact that abhimanyu did everything that he never wanted to do. He wanted arohi to say no to the proposal ..he wanted akshu to admit her true feelings ..he didn't want to say yes to harsh and mNjari to find a suitable girl ..he was weak, he couldn't deal with the family pressure and his mom's health ..but he didn't cheat arohi. Yes he should have cancelled the wedding ..abhi and akshu were about to go home when everyone came to the temple . Arohi started shouting at akshu when she should be shouting at abhimanyu .

Why is arohi wrong to Me? Bec she knew everything. She knew his majboori, she knew he was vulnerable, she knew he loves akshu, she knew his heart is not in this marriage ..he spelt out to her . In such a situation, taking advantage of his vulnerability is even more wrong . Why is it indecent proposal? Did he ask for one night stand or contract marriage or hate marriage ? Was he an opportunist who came with the proposal with some hidden agenda? Did he lie to arohi?

I believe whatever is being said about abhimanyu is TRUE from an individual perspective . But when I take arohi and akshu in the equation, they were equally at fault if not more.

What was the thought behind abhimanyu getting married to Aarohi? Is it so that abhimanyu thinks himself as a trophy and him offering to marry a girl itself is a big deal for him because it seemed so from the episodes. It was like I am THE ABHIMANYU BIRLA and marrying me itself is a big deal for aarohi because he never offered anything to her - friendship, loyalty, support, responsibility

You have perfectly stated everything that is wrong with the great Abhimanyu Birla. The offence of offering for his lady love's sister is multiplied many many times bcz of this: 1. Even if it was bcz his parents selected her, he could easily have told them I'll marry any other girl of your choice except Aarohi. 2.He didn't do that bcz he thought she was the one who saved him and prayed for his mum. And like you said, this being the case it was doubly important that he should steer clear of hurting someone like that. 3. This one is definitely one of the reasons why Abhi went ahead with the proposal--that she was akshu's sister and he did it to get a response out of akshu. One way or the other, he wanted to be around her and this is what makes him the most sickening guy.

Knowing that Aarohi had some feeling for him, there is no way I'm going to agree if anyone says otherwise, he did know Aarohi was inclined towards him since the first tilak..knowing this he actually took advantage of that and so confidently, bare-facedly took his insulting proposal to her. He probably despises her for accepting it but he should look into himself first. He's no right to despise her. And the fact that he's a cheap guy was again brought home when he so rudely, vilely threw those words on her face when Harsh asked why he proposed aarohi when all he wanted was to get akshu to confess her feelings.

He could have easily become friends with Aarohi first. It's not like you can love only one person till the end of life. If he proposed marriage to aarohi, he should have taken her seriously. Tried to build that connect atleast with her.

100% truth and very aptly you have described past few months track's idiocy for Abhi's char 👏👏

I had absolutely hated his char here , toh it is played by my fav HC 😭 So had to make do with just occasional IG clips for few imp scenes of Abhira which was worthwhile here n there 😆
