I can’t justify what Abhi did in his wedding day - a day that we organised on his own. He didn’t leave the manado technically but it was almost as bad. The only counter point is to day that Harsh is a super manipulative man and his the truth from his son when he knew that Akshu was the one who saved him. Similar to the eat Mahima hid the truth form Abhi that she knew the proposal was for Arohi.

The bit where I disagree with you is in relation to Neel. Neel most probably will not have been given the same education or opportunity as Abhi. It is clear that the family except for Abhi treat him like a half relation, almost like a trusted man friday. So it may be that he does have “ a job” - to do what they ask him to do. Many rich families have these sort of assistants. Like when he fixed Abhi car. Harsh is being harsh manipulative and crush as always.

Also Harsh is saying Neel has to get a job, what the hell does Parth do all day other than sing in the garden with his aunt ?

Leave the physical assault, harsh verbally assault people too. He demeans manjari & mahima. This guy is mcp. He doesn't deserve an ounch of respect.

& bridging gap, how she'll bridge the gap. Abhi hates the way his mom is treated & harsh is that guy who'll always remain abusive moron. How is it fault of manjiri. It's harsh who is the guilty one in this whole scenario.

If Manjari really tries and is not able to bridge the gap it isn't her fault. But I think Manjari likes having Abhi all to herself, she likes having her son idealize her and subconsciously she likes that baap bete ki nahin banti.. I just don't like that woman and her so-called bond with her son, it is sickening 🤢

I think you have a point there. But somewhere I do feel sorry for her - she’s clearly an abused wife (mentally and probably physically too as Harsh has publicly raised his hand against her). Women like that develop coping mechanisms, including using their children (sons, especially) as a shield against their spouses. The bonding between her and Ab they show is hard for me to watch too. Another example of writing fail, there’s a fine line between showing a strong mother son bond and an infantilized almost Oedipal codependency🤢

Yeah.. that was the word in my mind oedipus complex😝

But yeah it's sad that she's an abused wife.. Looks like there are lots of such dysfunctional relationships on itv but none really get called out for what they are and are just seen as necessary padding for the main story.
