Guys I was racking my head of why abhi should visit goenka home today???? And you know what.. i think i got the answer for it due to the abhira scenes that came later.
It was their pakphera thats what you call right, where the couple is supposed to visit brides home the next day, something like that. So probably this scene must be symbolic for that with all the varamala and tikka or reverse maang bharo. And even kv, the brides relative talked to abhi!! So that ritual over with a small intimate moment in a bed of flowers!! Riddhi unka first night.. ok not first night probably, but first morning together amidst flowers bhi ho gaya with some huggys... aur abhi ko smile se duty par bhi bhej diya like a good wife!!!🤣🤣
Actually, in marvaris the rasm you guys call pakphera happens a bit differently.
See the bride's parents come to pick her up in the morning or daytime. And the groom goes to his sasural in evening with a few friends with sweets.
And spends the night there, while the ladies sings a few songs distribute the sweets and all that.
He leaves the next day, ans than father in law come the pick her up. Atleast that's how it happens in my side.
In cities wedding is a one day function, where bidai happens immediately after getting married but in villages the bride and the groom spends the first night in "mayka" and bidaai happens the next day.
But in udaipur it's like normal wedding.
