I was on the same page with you about arohi and then I read about today' s episode ,,now I don't feel so bad for Arohi,,,

You can't say she was never at fault. Yes she was vocal but she was very selfish and self centered. She never thinks abt others, that's how she is been brought up. She accuses akshara at any given time. And the goenka's are always OK with that. Are mute spectators. Aarohi may be vocal but abhi did mention he will only love the sister and that even if he married her it will be a loveless life for which she was totally OK. She only thinks of topping. She just wanted to marry abhi to defeat akshara that's all. Akshara is at fault for expressing at the wrg time but she atleast she did realize that giving up on something that is meant for her is foolishness.

She never really lied about anything to do with Abhimanyu.

She was hurt after her engagement broke and she told Akshara that she will not forgive her if she maintains a relationship with Abhimanyu. What's wrong with that ? Abhimanyu did offend and insult Aarohi at the time of engagement. If that woman - Akshara is really Aarohi's sister then any sister would chose her family over some random guy she met a few days ago.

Why did Abhimanyu agree to marry Aarohi when he wanted to keep pursuing Akshara ??

Akshara always kept quiet and then suddenly decided to confess her love to Abhimanyu on the day of her sister's wedding.

Aarohi has always been upfront about her feelings. The entire family knew that Abhimanyu liked Akshara but it was Akshara who was always quiet!

When I watch Arohi I think this is unrealistic - would someone actually lie so much to their family and others to get what they want, would someone do this to their si king etc?

However, the fact that people say that they respect her and support her make me realise I’m wrong. That there are people who don’t consider what she has done wrong, that these sort of stuff is respected and followed by people in real life too. So in that sense the writers have not created an exaggerated character but someone realistic. She may be the sort of person I loath and think is wile and a cheater and a liar but she does exist and there are people who respect that sort of character.
