The reality is that they are going to show Akshu apologising to her bade papa and her sister. Again and again and again. Abhi will also apologise.
I feel very pessimistic about whether the writers will show the family questioning their own actions. Whether they will ask themselves how this situation came about. Why Akshu didn’t talk? Why they didn’t ask Akshu? Why Arohi lied - most importantly!!!

Abhi comes with proposal and everyone right away throws a party. Akshu is blushing, laughing, dancing and weaving dreams. They absolutely notice this and are even happy that ooh look Arohi is happy for her sister but no Arohi is only happy for Arohi! When the MU happens, does anyone try to talk to Arohi? NO

Does anyone try to get clarification? No! At least Kairav should have clarified considering he’d kept glaring at Abhi during the picnic and noticing Abhira together. But he goes back to being the mute little bro and listens to Akshu.

And like you said despite noticing her happiness thinking rishta was for her, did any of them speak to her once? Just to ask how she is, what’s in her heart? No

And then conveniently no one notices or rather choses to ignore(kairav) her pain as she “happily” plans Arohis tilak with the man she had literally hours ago accepted as her own hone wala dulha.

And this ignorance continues through all of the wedding functions. Arohi is praised for being happy in Akshu’s happiness but the truth is Arohi can never stand Akshu getting even a drop of happiness.
Akshu, who constantly helps and saves Arohi, Akshu, who ignoring her own pain planned each if Arohi’s events to the best of her ability, Akshu, who tries her hardest to save her relationships at the cost of her love is constantly insulted, demeaned, taunted, disrespected and accused as the whole family stops and stares as if they are watching some tragedy movie. Her life is literally a tragedy but Goenka’s still don’t understand.

the funny thing is every single thing Arohi has ever accused Akshu for is actually true for Arohi only🙄

relationships are a 2 way road. If you neglect someone long enough they will eventually stop trying to communicate their pain to you too. So Goenkas need to understand if Akshu wasn’t strong and secure enough to share her feelings with any of them, it is not just Akshu’s fault. The blame falls on them too😤

Sorry for the length😅. I could literally speak about the injustice and tortures of this show for days🥺

This thread is amazing finally a discussion about mental health and years of abuse! As much it's fun to have banter about who is at fault more! We can't unsee the treatment/bullying that has been handed out to akshu. From the outside everything looks so perfect, rich family, living together but the foundations are rotten! Every single one of the gonekas are responsible for how akshu is today, they let it happen, I really really hope the makers show something related to mental health and the help that's available! I swear there should be trigger warnings before the episode airs and also helpline contacts at the end like British shows!

Aarohi train of delusions runs only in front of her family. This girl can make a five year old kid look like a serial killer with her arguments. Manish is right with his questions only if he had not been such a hypocrite and watched aarohi demeaning akshu for years. I can't imagine a 10 year old going through whatever akshu went through.

Hypocrisy is definitely a family trait here. Everyone is acting like Akshu not telling them anything is something new. How’s a girl to speak up when everyone in her family has in one way or another shut her down, asked her to leave, asked her to adjust etc for the comfort of one person?

Arohi has been driving me absolutely insane with her BS. If she felt an ounce of shame and guilt for her actions, I might have felt a little bad for her being left at the mandap. But she literally turns it around and blames everyone else as if she is absolutely innocent.
Arohi dear, you can’t walk into a bar fight and hope not to get punched. She accepted Abhi’s proposal with eyes wide open, knowing not only that Abhi loves Akshu, but that Akshu also loves Abhi. She intentionally separated them and continued to use both Abhira to accomplish her so called dreams. And now seeing her expreassions in the precap, 100% is planning and plotting again. Sorry not sorry, i will never be able to emphasize with this girl🙄

Akshara is silent and shy types..she is not loud and aggressive like aarohi..

Aarohi has a habit of snatching everything that akshara wants or likes..and akshara politely gives up everything for her..so goenkas should have tried to stop this toxic behavior of aarohi and they should have taught akshara to stand up for her own happiness..but they didn't do anything..all these years aarohi kept on snatching akshara's every happiness and goenkas were just mute spectators..

Goenkas are the biggest reason behind aarohi's toxic behavior..

Abhimanyu has come in akshara's life as a breath of fresh air..he teaches her how to take stand for herself..aarohi's snatching behavior went so far that she even tried snatching akshara's lover from her..so whatever happened to aarohi was sad but it was very much needed...she needed this lesson that can't snatch her sister's happiness all the time..goenkas have always pacified aarohi's big fat ego by treating her like a princess...but abhimanyu gave aarohi a brutal reality check and crashed her ego..

YES!!!! Akshara has so far lived her life on her family’s terms. Pretty much her every decision is based on someone else's happiness, someone else's demands or to maintain peace in the family.

Meeting Abhimanyu made her think of her own happiness, her own desires for once but this was also squashed hard by Arohi’s emotional abuse. It took time and lots of pain but finally her love for Abhi gave her the courage to make her own decision outside the wishes and comforts of the family. She’s finally found someone who puts her first, who fights for her, even if he has to fight her, he does it for her! Someone who places importance to her and her words and who shows her that she is deserving of love, protection and happiness.

No problem with the length! You expressed them perfectly well! And yes, with the level of Sautela treatment that only Akshu seems to be getting from Goenkas is so pathetic and rant worthy! I cannot, for the life of me imagine anyone going through this alone and trying to second guess every single thought…! Arohi is a bully who was nurtured and tended to by Goenkas.. maybe, star plus should hail this serial as some sort of mental abuse/depression/bullying problems faced within families.. they always promote Rishta wahi Soch nayi.. !

Usually our character is formed not by the big and dramatic incidents that happen in our life. It’s formed by the small slights and insults and lack of support. The casual undermining, the day ti day lacked of caring about what Akshu wants. This happening over a long period of time is what has created Akshu, the sacrificial lamb today. And even with that sacrificial lamb characteristics, she can never ever seem to please her family.

That’s why Abhi had to open his mouth in support of Akshu and tell Bade Papa about the type of conditioning the entire family had put on Akshu. As much as Bade Papa was right to scold bith the girls, I still feel like double standards because Akshu was left with no choice, her voice and wishes had alway been suppressed by her family. From before Tilak 1.0, no one cared to ask as Akshu directly as elders what she felt. Even when Mimi suggested that they speak to Birla’s about Abhira rishta after Tilak fiasco stating that Sjshu keeps feelings to herself, Manish’s who got in the way. Now he’s blaming her for keeping things from him.

As much as all three (Abhira and Arohi) were at fault in this… it was mainly Arohi’s doings that resulted in both Abhi and Akshu’s actions till now.
