1) if family are at loggerheads, who would allow abhira to even meet? It is them who need to stand up against the family too when it comes too love. Only a wedding will solve the problem .
2) if family are at loggerheads and they still want to show dating / friendship phase, I don't think abhimanyu is that type of banda who would waste time in dating or being friends with someone. He is absolutely clear he loves akshara wholeheartedly. He wants her to become completely his and can imagine her only as a wife. If family breaks the alliance and they talk without any base to relation ,it will be awkward for both of them as they fell in love first. So suddenly talk like normal friends do would obviously be awkward.
3) they've build up this track since months and everyone was predicting bride swap and stuff. They won't leave this track with as simple thing as abrohi marriage getting cancelled. They have to show something more and exciting . Families fighting in the end and wedding getting cancelled would be the least exciting thing after so many days of build up. So run away wedding they will show.
4) almost all the rituals have happened with abhira. So if that has happened, it has a meaning right? They won't show those rituals going as a waste or an insult to those. If marriage gets cancelled, it means indirectly abhira rituals have got void because everything happened with them.
5) abhimanyu is way too desperate to have ak ☺️
6) even in og track ended with anurag meghla wedding. So here also they need to show wedding- they've opted the runaway wedding route.
7) this is in sync with drunken confession . They will choose their khushi this time against family.
