I personally loved HC’s expression where Abhi is told her vocal cords are involved. His reaction to that is 💔, absolutely on point and so beautifully expressed. Not overdone, not underdone.. just nailed it, Holy Yrk! 💔❤️

I don’t know.. initially it felt like, at some places, he wasn’t crying enough (sorry, not a sadist but I expected he’d breakdown like no other times before this). Maybe because he couldn’t process her getting away from him this soon.. or it hadn’t registered because they showed he was frozen on the spot, absolutely numb. He’d only just told her to get away from him, to not show him her face.. he couldn’t even stew in his hurt and anger perhaps and she was here already, fighting for her life. Maybe that’s why? Or maybe, they are saving up the maha breakdown for later, after the surgery is done so the viewers find that part more emotionally effective and laud-worthy? 😍

He was great, yes. He was breaking yes, but he absolutely hit the nail on the head with his eyes when he was informed of the possibility of damage to her vocal cords. I can go on writing for that scene alone because that was what I was expecting from him after the promos. I’m a sucker for breakdown scenes. And KSG and HC are the kings of emotional scenes. They capture the essence of such scenes perfectly!

Years ago, I clearly remember when I wasn’t a KDMHMD fan and my cousins would watch it, they’d said.. “I wish the writer gives him so much pain that he only cries in the show. Because he’s very very beautiful and looks even more beautiful when he cries, I want him to keep crying on the show!” 😍😅

The precap scene is what I’m waiting for. When he slides down that wall, I want it to be with relief and with how close he’d come to actually losing her. Not because of her losing her singing ability. 💔 I don’t want him to fail her for 1) He had to draw impossible courage and strength from within himself and the universe to lead this surgery because his loved one was involved. And Akshara is not only a loved one (not belittling other relationships here), she’s his very life. He loves her with every fiber of his being. 2) He’s sought the Divine blessings for help before operating on her. And I don’t want his faith in himself and his God fail him so. Toh, I want him sobbing in relief as he succeeds in the operation today. He gets his life back as her health and life is restored. His faith reaffirmed with gratitude and relief. 💝

And you showed Abhi coming back to life and taking his Akshu hand in his as he caressed her hair like he was gaining strength from her and giving her all the love and energy she needs

Yaaro se nazre chura le, chahe jitna dam laga le... Jaane na tujhko aise denge hum

And picturised Abhi talking to her to breathe and get up and do not sink... Damn, girl the power that scene was ❤️

And you showed Abhi holding the scalpel as his hands shivered and folded into a prayer as he wished from the same God to save her who was calling. He was fighting the supreme power to give her back to him. My heart broke a little more

Do kadmon ka ye safar, choti si ye dagar hai, ek kadam mein ladkhadaya kyu

And damn you showed them walking together and how Abhi holded her when she lost balance. He is her saviour, always been

Abhi was praying and Akshu was breathing hard and the lyrics sun le yaaro ki ye baatein, beetengi sab gam ki raatein...

And then Abhi opened his eyes, like remembering the hurt he gave and he will heal her and the next line, yaaro se rootha hai saale kyu.. like he knew she is upset with him. Even today dialogue there was beautiful and showed this

I can't help but muse sadly of how much in pain they are an show beautifully you showed them. Thank you Zenu

Maa ne khatt mein Kay likha tha and you showed Manjiri and Akshu hug ... God, I really teared up

Jug jug jiyo bas ye likha tha and you showed Akshu in deathbed and Abhi in scrubs... I can't
