Ami does not have to potential to portray Harshad's mom.

He is a powerful actor who needs a powerful mom otherwise Mahima as his aunt is doing a fab job.

Lets say then he is more like his aunt.

Ok I get what you're saying now - but isn't the point of this storyline that Abhimanyu is not like his mother? He's more confident, more competent and that's why Mahima is jealous her sister got the son she wanted? Maybe that's why he's so protective of his mother because she comes across as fragile unlike the rest of the family.

An actress of lil more age and experience could have been got to connect perfect Manjari. But the character is a raita spreader so I don't expect anything from her. Entire birla family is compares akshu to manjari including abhi. That she is too fragile n all. Abhimanyu all the time treats her like a baby girl ..in future also they're going to show akshara being treated like manjari as apparently she is like manjari though i don't agree

Like Pranali is a lesser experience but they fit well together.

Age is not a factor to judge anyone. nor is experience.

just like education does not mean how many degrees one has.

Oh interesting! I guess you're right, Arohi and Akshara are somewhat parallel to Mahima and Manjari - which is why Mahima wants someone like her sister, not someone who's competition. And yeah Abhimanyu did compare Akshara to his mother several times in the beginning. It would be very sad though if Akshara ended up being treated like Manjari (or behaving like her).

Yeah, fair enough - I think we're going have to agree to disagree on this one. I like her acting fine.

Actually that's just their interpretation of her, because Abhi and other kids loves manjari and harsh hates her and akshu both.

Mahima who's is not blinded by any emotion, once said " I use to think you were like manjari but you are not, you are sweet and selfless but strong" or something along those lines.

To be fair, Manish was awful in the beginning with all his 'woh ladki' finger pointing at Naira. He's veered up and down the scale over the years, the drunken 'papa kehte hai' at Kartik's bachelor party was sweet. Then he went through some other weird avatars and now he's Bade papa (sort of equivalent to what Dadi was in S2, no?)
