Abhimanyu Birla keeps the people at the gates of his heart as he smiled at everyone who knocks but never opens.
But one fine day, he stumbles upon a girl who could see right through his fake smiles but did not even let him peek inside her facade.
"The next time you decide to smile, try to smile from your heart not only by the upward curve of your lips," she said, her expression less face not giving away the tornado which she continued to fight inside her.
That's a bit rude thing to say to someone you've just met 😆 This reminded me of that infamous methi Dana scene 😳Akshara and Abhi sound so relaxed and "normal" here.
And his jaw hits the ground.
Composing himself, he asked, "how do you know?!"
"So it's the truth?!" She smirked, raising her eyebrows as her eyes twinkled in victory.
She saw the myriad of emotions that passed through him. His eyes spoke volumes. And no doubt, they are beautiful! She does not have to remember it because she could not ever forget those chocolate brown orbs.
I love how you make Abhi sound like an expensive chocolate.
Abhimanyu's eyes danced with astonishment, confusion, curiosity, hope and maybe screamed of help too.
Yeah yaar, Abhi needs as much help as Akshara does. Am I the only one who feels both are vulnerable people but just have different means to express themselves?
Akshara smiled, a smile which is devoid of any kind of happiness. "Alfazo mein main samjha nahi paungi aur meri khamoshi tum padh nahi paoge. " And she looked straight in his eyes which now shows determination and unknown to her, she nodded. Accepting whatever it offered.

He took this as a challenge... A sweet challenge but he forgot, he was playing with fire and he might burn himself down.
They are like moth and fire. I've seen many people associate them with this analogy.
And in all the chaos, Mr. Abhimanyu Birla ends up falling for a mess, his mess, Ms. Akshara Goenka but just like how the sun never gets the moon; Akshara and Love never go hand in hand.
"I am in love with you, Akshara and I am not going to leave your hand ever... Please, just trust me. I love you and there is nothing which could deny it," he declared it to her. His voice have the sincerity while his eyes affirmed his every word.
See I find this romantic but I can see how others may deem this part to be a little messy as it implies Abhi is to stubborn to understand consent. However, I personally think that Abhi is not forcing his love on her. He is simply stopping her from running away from everything good that happens to her. For example, some people are nervous and have stage fright so they avoid taking the lead role because they know they will mess up. That is Akshara, she has a stage fear of life in general. She doesn't want to accept anything good because she is scared. Abhi is that person who will give her the lead role despite her refusal because he knows he only intended the role for her. I see him as someone who is there to boost her confidence.
She knew he was saying the truth but she will never be able to say a yes and so she did what she was best at. She made the walls of her heart a little more higher and guarded her eyes so that he could not look pass her lies, "But I don't," she said, even though her heart broke in a zillion pieces. "I don't love you, Abhimanyu." And there she felt her soul dying a slow death.
She looked at the myriad of emotions which passed through him but its the sound of his broken heart which forced her to take a step back. Akshara, steel yourself. You know the consequences so well of it.
"Why?" he asked, his voice a mere whisper, shoulders slumped in defeat telling her about his shattered self.
She turned to go because she possibly could not bring it upon herself to answer him... maybe because she herself was unknown to the reason.
"I asked why, Akshara?!" his palms wrapped around her wrist, stopping her to move any forward. His lips quivered as he waited for an answer with bated breath.
You are not asking, Abhimanyu... You are pleading. A tear rolled down her eye at the thought. Composing herself she said, "Har sawal ka jawab nahi hota, Abhi. Kaash hota aur agar aisa hota toh ek bhi dil tuta hua nahi hota." Her voice betrayed her.

He smiled.... A true broken smile. But it was not only broken, it was mocking her. Those unshed tears in his eyes were enough to tell her that he saw through her lies. The man who did not bow down in front of anyone has accepted defeat so easily.
She did not have to wriggle out of his hold because he let her go. With a heavy heart she moved ahead leaving a broken heart and a shattered self behind. Not having the courage to turn around, she ran away because she knew, one look at him and all hell will break loose.
