Abhira are like two people who were alive but dead in a way. Akshu's childhood was ruined with the trauma of losing her parents and her sister's love. Abhi's life seems to be a compromise for his mum and he has definitely been effected by seeing his mum be belittled throughout her life. Both of them were living for someone else (Akshu for her family and Abhi for his mum) but now they found each other and it's as if their souls were finally allowed to think for themselves and be selfish.

But alas, Akshu's freedom didnt last long. She is back to carrying that baggage called Arohi.

@Bold- Absolutely.... Now they found someone for whom they want to be selfish.. Something for their own happiness. Akshu needs to realize that she is not responsible for keeping everyone happy.

And then I went back and watched the previous episodes of AbhiRa. A lot, lot of things started making sense.

They felt connected, not through music but the pain they hide it through. One through singing and the other through listening. A lot of us thought it's only the voice... Including me but the pain it held and the healing it does... We forgot to think.

Here i completely agree with you. They both are connected somehow. And we can feel their pain. If they will be together then they will forget the world.

Imagine a person who has seen so many people sprinkling salt on other wounds ( including his) finally felt a soothing balm being rubbed over it.

Imagine a girl who has been hated over nothing from her sister, finds a man, who takes stands for her. You know, the one who loves needs to be loved. And for the first time, Akshara felt that from a stranger. That time it was not love for her... But something so special that words will maybe fall short to express it. The most important thing, she felt special. Her thoughts were mirrored and when not, respected.

She finally has someone on her side who is accepting her the way she is ! Here she will feel special because Abhi treats her so well even he respects her thats the most important thing.

And soon, they kept on meeting each other.... Keep discovering some layers. They felt attracted but acting on it or not was a question. But he took a step forward and she was just like the moth attracted to the flame... Unknown to her, her steps got synced with his.

The destiny has binded them but they were still on the surface of water and so they went deep and the bond has to be tested.

And since, they were still learning to love, unlearning the pain, they did not know how to stay afloat and their boat of love sinks down.

Sometimes words are needed to confess but if you have not confessed, it can cause a ruckus. Anything less than a yes is a no! Absolutely and Abhimanyu was wrong in coaxing Akshara to confess it but it was his flaws. And whys of why he want it is important too. He wanted to know he was not the only one who has boarded that boat ... That what he felt was right. A part of him know that the attraction, the pull, the love was mutual but the broken part of him needs confirmation. Validation and what not.

He has to confess his feeling first before announcing to the family. We just can't assume that the person is in love with us without proper confirmation through words. Honestly Abhi did a big mistake that he assumed akshu is in love with him Though its true but now everything is a mess because of all confusion. If Abhi would have cleared from first then may be there was a chance to sort out the things.

His whole character was questioned and people expect him to be quiet? Why should he even? It was wrong in his part to coax Akshara then why is Aarohi given free leverage? If he wanted, he could tell the web of lies she has created but he even took a stand for her when Vansh questioned her IQ. Nd I actually laughed at the message Kairav showed if that shows that one is intrested in other and gives a hint that someone is into a person then God save us... Aise message pata nhi kitne aate honge. I am not even asking Akshara to say something but being quiet, she also gave a way for others to question his character too. Get it she could not declare her love and should not even. I am okay even if she did not spoke a word but did not Kairav felt Abhimanyu feels for Akshara himself? Have they even seen Abhimanyu interacting with Aarohi? He does not even call her Aarohi... It was always Dr. Aarohi. That too his tone has always been clipped and professional with her. If he wanted to two time his sisters, he would not be there clearing the confusion and mess, everyone (him included) has created.

Definitely he is right. He expresses his feelings and thats really nice that he is accepting his love for Akshu. And here Akshu goes on a silent mode i really don't like her behavior. Poor Abhi how many time he said Please to her but then also no answer at all. One more thing here no one has right to question about Abhi's character. If he is at a fault then he would remain silent but no he took stand for his love that is commendable👏.

A person who has experienced love for the first time, has got his heart broken.

Harshad sir once posted a picture on his (Abhimanyu) IG with the caption- ' he was never a boy, always a man. Still, a boy is all he ever was.

This describes Abhimanyu and why he fell in love. Because for him love is still alienated and he is still a boy who wants nothing but love. And when we are small we don't know what it is but all we know is what we are feeling is love.

Love at first sight: I have never believed in love at first sight but the first time I heard you singing, I feel myself running miles to see you because it pulled my heart strings. Your voice became my solace in the abyss that I have lost myself into. The moment I glanced at you and your eyes closed in fear was when I know I have to protect the innocence you carry because only that can calm my jittery nerves. When you opened your eyes and looked at me, I felt myself getting lost in your deep brown gaze. And when you smiled, my heart skipped a beat and fell in the pit of my stomach but I have never felt so whole ever.

I have never believed in love but when I met you, I knew, I belonged to you.

@Blue: There is vast difference between urban younger gen audience and the trp one's tastes phir bhi a lot of the former one's will watch the regular shows just for couple's chemistry despite the illogical tracks. People troll but then they get back to watching. Trp sabse jyada matters to the show runners, woh kaise bhi mile unhe kya pharak padta hain. Those who crave for more than what ITV offers have found solace in international content. Any good attempt by ITV will still be trolled because it doesnt meet "expectations". Everyone wants sisters before mister par jab ladki sister ke liye sacrifice kare toh bhi galat😆

I have seen so much negativity for this show from age shaming, triangle, 2 girls 1 boy, sisters rivalry, being judged for the things it has not even done bcuz of Ichchee nodes spoilers and more... From what I have seen in the show and read about IC there are a lot of differences. First being the girls are half sisters! Waha pe the fl was adopted, younger and hated for no reason beyond that. Yaha Aarohi saw her mom die trying to save Akshu, illogical lage bhi par understandble way of trauma dealing hain. She is so insecure, weak and blaming Akshu has become a coping mechanism. I feel bad for her but do not support her actions. So far she has not become a vamp. I don't think she will in the future as its Yrkkh. Even her wrist cut is a accident according to Karishama's IV whereas in IC fl tries to suicide by not eating. She wasnt/ didnt know she was in love at the time of engagement but yaha Akshu knows that she has strong feelings. They are bringing in mental health angle as well here. Akshu ne abhi kuch sacrifice kiya bhi nahi aur pata bhi nahi karegi tho kis point par karegi like the SBB says Akshu went to confess her feelings but couldn't meet par everyone already believes she will go to park to sacrifice LOL Karne se pehle hi bashing😆

From the episodes and Pranali, Karishma's offscreen bits this is a story of two sisters whose relationship will heal overtime through the love triangle. Abhi is very admanant on what he wants. Its not a love triangle where the guy is stuck b/w the girls imo but Akshu stuck b/w her sis and love. How Akshu will grow through Abhi's love and her relationship with her sister heals.

Anyways sorry for ranting so much lol

For him her voice was first thing which gave peace to him and then they met... He offered lift to know more about her and at that point he realised it's not just her voice but she herself is a peace for him. Even at a point he wanted to deny his feelings in mask festival but he couldn't.

And also the peace he was searching for so long and it was also shown that he got disturbed with it too... That how can a mere voice have the power to heal him... He wanted to run away but he only ran towards her.

We can't expect logic from makers in ITV. Audience wants masala to watch so for sake of trp they add unnecessary masala and twists to keep audience hooked.

Exactly and when they tried to serve logic we ourselves reject it. Like just now, I saw a lot of people expecting Akshara to speak up, not understanding that she was the same girl who has craved Aarohi love for years... So she will obviously won't choose Abhimanyu over her... And even if that's not the case, how can she just declare her love for a man who just broke the engagement with her sister ( of course he did the right thing bcoz we as an audience know that Aarohi is making up stories in her head and living there only but Akshara don't). The only thing Akshara should be questioned was to put up with Aarohi's biases but more than her, Goenkas should be questioned.

I am okay with Akshara being mute there too. She did the best thing. Of course, she could have only pretend to be good in front of Abhimanyu only but she was sharing happiness even when they are alone... Nd she would definitely don't want to let it go for a man. As a sister she did a good job and sister before misters.

Karishma in the IV said it's an accident ... So let's for the episodes ... Suicide is a very delicate matter and it's okay if Akshara will feel bad and does not confess. The only thing that can irk me right now is, she urging Abhimanyu to marry Aarohi... Sacrifice karna hai toh karo... Na bolna hai na bolo par don't force him. Bas.

I am keeping my fingers crossed.... Even messaging the makers with plots and all... I just hope they handle it sensibly.

To be honest I am still a bit surprised at the pace with which AbhiRa happened but that’s also because I’m more biased towards slow burn romances. However, watching Harshad’s previous show, we were all expecting a slow burn and got such a choppy love story with minimal focus on the couple that I wonder if itv still knows how to do that genre properly😕.

That being said, while I can’t understand love at first sight, there are many people who do and it has happened to them. As your post summed up, they seem to have some form of connection and I think what a lot of viewers forget is that YRKKH is based around super conservative families. I haven’t watched previous seasons but I know the families were pretty much traditional. Conservative Indian families aren’t fond of dating for an extended period of time nor dating in general🌚. Most arranged marriage set ups happen within the same frame Abhira’s love story happened

People date, give each other time, understand the flaws, the charm and all ... I just hope makers handle the tracks carefully... Instead agar iss show mein Harshad sir nhi hote toh main itne jatan nhi karti.... I am DMing makers and writers on Insta...

Yeah, they are conservative from what I heard too... Goenkas were atleast. I don't know about the first generation.

They have the potential ... I just want makers to have a wonderful story for AbhiRa... ITViness toh hoga hi but atleast give us some meaningful real scenes and monologues between them not only dream sequences...

So I will stop now.

I dont know whether the show would ever address all the things that contributed to Arohi's behaviour but its definetely a combination of some bad parental decisions & trauma that grew her insecurities and amplified her negative qualities. Would be interesting if they deal with the trio's issues with nuance.

Yes, the story and many of the characters have huge scope! But having expectations for ITV is very risky for your heart lol We can only hope.
