Something is not right in Kairav (his depiction)

So I have been watching the show on and off and recently saw the gun track where Naira scolds Kairav and Kartik saves him. Now Kairav has strong feelings of dislike for his mother.

Pre covid, he had intense feelings of hatred for Kartik. Something is not right in the way they depict him. So much ill feelings and negativity in a child that he starts despising his own parents, is concerning.

I feel it’s due to Kaira’s divided stand as parents. One parent becomes bad cop and the other one good and then the child starts favoring one over another. It’s a mess. They need to think and act together. But still, Kairav straightaway hating one of his parents for any matter is just not done.

Also characters always talk in extreme but some of Gayu’s words were right - they need to be strict with Kairav too.

Totally agree with you. What ever Kairav does its just too extreme but then again his parents do the same. For goodness sake these kids had a real gun that they stole... That is not a mistake that should be forgiven with just a slap on the wrist. Kartik takes everything just too lightly and for that reason Kairav wont understand the seriousness of his mistake and kartik is also making Naira the villain in Kairavs eyes but his stupid child psychology. Im a mother so im speaking from mothers point of view. Children need to be disciplined when they do something wrong.

Kairav needs to be taught that when a parent scolds you for something, it is for his own benefit. Not always though, parents too can be wrong at times. But Kairav gets too upset about things, which leads to him doing something wrong and hiding matters from his parents.
