The only good thing was, Kartik and Vedika were kept far apart except for the few forceful hugs but now Kartik is shown sitting in Vedika’s room, assisting her in packing for their honeymoon, even going for the honeymoon.

There will be a scene of Kartik saying something to Kairav before he sits in the car, maybe a bye but the thought of that scene is so off-putting.

He’s leaving his son who’s staying with him and going on a honeymoon with his second wife and the poor child is being lied to from months.
I just can’t deal with what they turned Kartik’s character into. Ik he feels obligated to do what Vedika says to him but now him marrying Naira, a few days after he was going on a honeymoon with another woman, seems so bad on so many levels.

What message is being sent out here? Had Naira not sent Kairav to GV or had Dadi not taken Vedika to the hospital, Kartik would have actually consummated his marriage with Vedika because that’s what she wanted? He keeps saying Naira’s place is her’s only but what place is he talking about? Is a place in his heart good enough when in reality, he’s given the literal place to someone else, religiously, by law? He would even have had children with Vedika had the truth not come out.

Indira everything is butchered beyond repair. They kill the essence of kaira first because of that character question and then vedika and now leap is also a head next month.

One gud thing is finally, this track s getting wrapped up.. ya, looks lyk even actors were frustrated wid this.. but Oly gud thing for them s, they got to emote different array of emotions. Specially, for Mohsin, I think dis track had many such, specially dat dark room scenes initial ones n recent one where Kartik was in shock..he was too gud.

Also, I wonder whether they wud white wash vedika's char just bcos pankuri didn't want to play negative role, as read sumwer. It's pathetic, if dat s the case.

Kartik wud hav agreed to go wid vedika to hm, for whatever reason, n its being blamed on him for agreeing . My point is, Had it been a girl in such situation, the guy would hav been put under any harassment case on trying to get intimate wid d girl n every1 wud hav bashed d guy.

I really wish the CVS had taken d initiative to show dat forcing someone to get intimate, without d other's consent is totally unacceptable to any gender n it's not gender biased. Maybe it's a sensitive topic, but it cud hav been brought up when V started planning all dis n Kartik s made to appear a puppet in front of her.

Very well said! I have stopped watching since a couple of weeks but I read somewhere that RS extended Vedika's track to get back at fans because of the RIPDKP and other hashtags that trended against this track. Only a foolish person destroys something so good to spite the audience - good job cutting off your nose to spite your face, RS (slow claps).

This is now a show written by morons for morons to watch unquestioningly. Not worth our wasting intelligent thoughts or logic on it. As for Pankuri Awasthy she can call herself positive parallel lead or whatever but Vedika is basically a lust-crazed woman willing to do anything to get physically with a man who doesn't want or love her. She's basically the female version of the 70s Prem Chopra-type villain - leering bad intentions at the lead character. It's clear her main motivation for wanting to stay married to Kartik is not love or even money or family which is understandable to some extent (it sounds like the entire family hates her - even Dadi!!). So the only motive remaining for wanting to share a room, spend quality time, go on honey moon etc is intimacy with Kartik by any means necessary. Emotionally coercing someone into a physical relationship is rape. It's so disgusting!

I am thinking back to the first post-wedding episode when Kartik tried to get intimate with Naira ( and these are two people who love each other deeply and are attracted to each other). Naira was so nervous and then Kartik hugged her and said it didn't matter if they weren't intimate, there was so much more to their relationship than that. And here is this desperate disgusting character - sticking to a man and forcing marital relations on him. I will never watch another show with this sick actress who thinks she's a positive character after this.
