vedika a totally irrelevant useless character was given such importance because of Pankhuri. Pankhuri is a lead actress so most probably when she signed the contract she stipulated that she wants a strong storyline for her character..and they gave her that. Vedika has irritated the viewers so much ..she destroyed the purity of karthik and nairas relationship by getting married to karthik..she got k dadi the old witch ..worshipping her. She has stayed in the story and dominated the dialogues even when she was away from the show for days ..shooting her movie... poor Shaurya didn’t even get a day of sick leave and was replaced immediately with a new child actor.🤷🏻‍♀️...but Pankhuri got her role as vedika preserved and treasured until she returned from her movie set...👏🏼

I don’t think it was Pankhuri but the makers themselves who got greedy after the buzz that was created around the marriage. Pankhuri was only signed on for 3 months, so till September. I doubt the marriage was even suppose to take place but they went ahead with it anyways because they saw it as an opportunity to create buzz.

Well for starters no one said they were at no fault. No one called them mahan or saint..

Also I don't know if you are following the forums threads but literally on every thread they both especially naira was criticised and blamed left and right. She was bashed so much. Also vedika was supported before this all drama she created.

The point she said was about how vedika being mahan and sacrificing what was not hers in the first place...in midst of all these ....the fact about how vedika was the one who manipulated...the situations according to her ,these all things will never come infromt of kartik all the family members. The fact that she blackmailed and called naira the other women when in fact she was the wife of kartik will never be revelead...that is what the point of what she wrote was. She said about how vedika will be mahaan ....and the fact that she is the reason for divorce will never come out.

In ekta kapoor serial there is always hope of evil persons deeds coming out...but here she will be tagged as mahaan and the bashing and taunting will always be on nairas side.

Sole reason Current issues dear, the issues after faceoff , their current separation , the divorce , the custody, kairav hating kartik . If there wasnt Vedika , they would have resolved their issues long ago. Naira tried to come back to Kartik atleast two times , so it was clear , after the face off they would have reconciled if Kartik wasnt married to Vedika. Vedika should have left the day Naira came back or may be after few days , because she always had the idea that they still long for eachother and Kartik will never give her Naira’s place.

YRKKH used to be different than other shows and that is what made them unique. Now they have become an Ekta show. It would have been refreshing to see Karthik take responsibility for his actions and be a man for a change instead of making him a coward. He should be the one responsible to sort this mess out but no instead they make Vedika clean up his mess and being forced to sacrifice her marriage. He always gets the easy way out of a complicated situation and it just makes him look worse. Do we really need to see a scene where he is tying Naira up? Is this how grown ups have a proper conversation? I am hoping Karthik is not shown after the leap. Karthik comes across as the bad boy we warn our daughters to stay away from but for some reason a woman gets under their spell forgets any logic or sensibility. I am surprised the audience turns a blind eye to Karthik's behavior all in the name of wanting to see a couple that has been twice divorced back together. No one is calling him out for his own behavior. It is just so convenient to blame his current wife isn't it? She is treated as a punching bag to vent out the frustration of Karthik and Naira not being together when this is of their own doing. The wife is made to look like an inconvenience making it difficult for him to manhandle his ex which he seems to take pleasure in. Instead we have the audience name calling and bad mouthing his current wife that he chose to marry. Stop saying he was forced into it as he is a grown man who was capable of saying no. He is not a child anymore so we need to stop making excuses for his behavior because he knew very well what he was doing. Is this how we treat people in the real world? Do we call someone's wife a chipkali and a homerecker? Not in the world I live in. I don't think so but because it is tv land that makes it ok? He has no business marrying someone and then neglecting that person and just calling her a responsibility. Here the audience is supporting his behavior and encouraging him to do wrong things. He maybe ok with divorce as he has already done it twice but for a woman divorce is a big deal and no woman goes into marriage thinking oh well I will just divorce him. Marriage is not a toy that you can return to the store when you change your mind. Karthik fails to realize that. I wish Naira would also realize this too. After Vedika leaves I hope they transition to the storyline quickly that is needed to make the leap. I am pretty sure Karthik and Naira's happiness will be shortlived. It would have been so much better if they had shown Karthik handling his issue with a little bit of reasoning and logic instead of showing him as a sadistic person.

@bold: On a lighter note, the scene where Kartik is tying up Naira is recreation of a past sequence 😀. In that sequence, Naira was tying up Kartik. It looked quite innocent when she was tying him up though. Here is that sequence; they both were younger and skinnier then.

Thank you so much for understanding my point. Yeah all i meant was that if there was no Vedika , Kaira would have reconciled, after the face-off. They would have fought , yelled but would have been together by now. Divorce ka to chance hi nahi tha. As Naira had already tried to come back to Kartik but couldn’t, Kartik loved only her , so there was no point to hate each other any further. It was all done because of Vedika.

Marriage doesn’t mean only Saat Phere. In today’s world even in arraigned marriages people take time and marry after long courtships . They even break engagements if dont find the compatibility. How come Vedika wasnt aware of the fact that now when Naira is alive her marriage means nothing. She also came to know that even as per law their marriage is Null. She tried her best to sustain this loveless relationship and gave up only when she felt there is no more chance left, as she cant become evil in the eyes of Kartik also, she wont do the things she did with Naira. She cant blackmail Kartik. She is cunning and manipulative now also. In her dream she actually did as per her character only but had to give up because she cant become bad in the eyes of everyone else . She wants to become mahan n i am sure she has something in her mind already.

once naira said, pehle hamari problems hamare beech thi Kartik, ab isme teesra bhi agaya hai. And thats what happened, if there was no Vedika, there wouldnot have been this whole mess after the face off.
